Here’s the last thing that I’ll say regarding the Jalen Hurts story that came out today:
Jalen Hurts has started 92 games in the NFL.
He has won 63 of those games, including six playoff games and a Super Bowl.
Hurts has done so with two different HCs and four different OCs (Sean Mannion will be #5).
We can talk about Hurts’ willingness to change and be flexible on offense.
But you won’t find another quarterback in recent NFL history that has won nearly 70% of their starts and that has also dealt with the amount of coaching turnover that Hurts has.
The NFL is a results driven business…and it’s hard to argue with the results that the Eagles have had with Hurts as their starting quarterback.

It's like the budget is saved for certain episodes, and when we get THOSE episodes it's like we are being spoiled. Words cannot describe how in-fucking-sane this was. The music, the voice acting, the ANIMATION (specifically at the end). Hot damn, I fucking love 'Invincible'

@sportsnow41 @Rodkil1963 @LosTalksPats @Patriots Yo can definitely overcorrect for sure, but neutrality in unequal conditions just preserves the imbalance with the facade of fairness. You do eventually need a meaningful cultural shift towards positive action I feel like.

Recognition of these issues isn’t a fixed thing, these things ebb and flow. Do you think that correcting historical underrepresentation always counts as unfair to others?

We can’t say inclusivity only includes certain groups, otherwise we’ve altered the very definition of the word

@sportsnow41 @Rodkil1963 @LosTalksPats @Patriots Sorta reminds me of redlining. You can make it illegal, sure, but it doesn’t undo the poverty of those which have suffered from it. You have to actively make changes which promote general welfare of the groups.

@sportsnow41 @Rodkil1963 @LosTalksPats @Patriots Ehh, I think there’s value in affirmatively celebrating marginalized groups. Simply tearing down the barriers which once existed doesn’t undo the asymmetry in norms and whatnot. You have to change the culture as well.
