Once it finishes going through review the paperback will be up. It can take up to 72 hours to publish. I am ordering a proof copy of a hardcover version to check the cover. Once I QC that, I will also be offering Ethos in that format as well. I am hoping to have that live within a week or two.

@BangSwitch5000 @eplurubusnullus @Mericamemed I'm a fan of HP computers/printers. I've have three of their laptops and had at least one of their printers. Their engineering side is fine. With a little luck you'll never have to deal with their warranty coverage division. They suck and not in a good way.

@JexThree @YKWcbafn @SmugEnglishman They are louder for sure but worth it. We have mini splits in 2 rooms of my house and they are quiet and great for both cooling and heating. But the portable ACs we have…needed were they are. Much cheaper than adding more mini splits!

@BangSwitch5000 @YKWcbafn @SmugEnglishman Yeah same as I have, a portable AC (they are loud and pretty ineffective compared to a real heat pump. And using duct tape and cardboard to seal everything does not look good :P i know. And portable ACs are so loud - compared to a real AC.

@JexThree @YKWcbafn @SmugEnglishman My house has tilt and turn windows. I have 2 ac units I use with them. You just get the AC units that go on your floor and have a tube for sending out the hot air on your window. Use cardboard and duct tape to seal off the rest of the window space. Vola! AC!

@SmugEnglishman It's going to be yet another year that more Europeans die from heat issues than Americans die from firearms (even including suicide by firearms) from temperatures on par with a nice spring day. And it's not even like they can't buy air conditioners. They just don't want to.

@JexThree @YKWcbafn @SmugEnglishman You don’t need to drill anything thing. You just place them in the window, put the window down and plug the ac into an outlet. Any gaps you can just tape off.

If I had to go home to convert my O-1 genius visa into a greencard, it would completely derail my career. Not even worth applying at that point. The process for a greencard is 1 to 2 years. The O-1 lasts 2 to 3 years. Just say you don’t want high skill immigration
