"They that tarry long...", "when shall I awake...I shall seek it yet again." These are the words of warning against a drunkard and abuser of alcohol, not a blanket ban of drink.

Yet, I think it is very clear that Scripture does not forbid drinking alcohol altogether. It even provides guidelines that anyone drinking must follow
