Mechanical valves get unnecessary bad publicity. Double valve after 28 years in a 72 year old. Patients need good counselling to choose right valve for themselves and avoid hospitals which only offer tissue valves without explaining downsides. Horses for Courses.

@Sugatrt @bapat_savrtavr I won’t be so Harsh, I doubt CT surgeons follow these patients over period of years, cardiologist do and we come across multiple issues by following patients with mechanical valves.
