One of my favourite plays ever, definitely my favourite Stoppard - can’t wait.

A wonderful articulation of what the loss of Paul Auster means. I read “The Brooklyn Follies” at 16 for my English class back in France and it remains one of the most formative books in my life.

@jeremyoharris Never subscribed to a mailing list so quickly in my life! I read it when the text came out, I’ve rarely been so captivated reading a play. It also made me think “that’s the level we should aspire to write at” and it’s always on my mind when I’m writing. So glad it’s coming here.

I met Sir Tom Stoppard outside @Hamps_Theatre last night. He’s my absolute literary hero. He was so kind and generous in the couple of minutes he gave me, and I’m still pinching myself I got to express my admiration.

What a surreal time. Listening to Martin Scorsese talk about film and filmmaking was equal parts humbling, educational, inspirational. @BFI @edgarwright #LFF

Magnificent night listening to Elton John yesterday. What an icon.

I had an amazing time at @WiltonMusicHall last night seeing @MarkFarrellyUK’s “Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope”. An extraordinarily moving look at a singular life, and a cathartic piece about loneliness and living authentically.

Today I got to interview Guillermo Del Toro and Mark Gustafson about their Pinocchio, the creative process, and life as a filmmaker. Absolute inspiration.

Screened “God’s Own Country” for students today and I got to interview Francis Lee after. He’s got so much insight to give, it was such a marvellous moment.
