The Carney government should never have said 'we don't talk about this in public,' because it just stiffens my resolve to talk about the government's own sordid collusions with Beijing, in public. I'm stubborn that way. therealstory.substack.com/p/big-money-be…

Where is food inflation actually happening? Not everywhere. Over the last 12 months, in Canada, the biggest price increases in Canada are concentrated in a few key categories: 🥒 Cucumbers: +43% 🍗 Whole chicken: +42% 🥬 Celery: +36% ☕ Coffee: +25% 🥩 Beef: +24% 🍓 Strawberries: +22% 🍅 Tomatoes: +19% 🛢️ Vegetable oil: +17% 🫑 Peppers: +14% 🌰 Almonds: +14% Meanwhile, many staples remain stable: Milk, bread, rice — barely moving. With oil now above $110 U.S. and transport surcharges starting, Stage 1 is here.

"Anne-Marie Gaudet is the partner (significant other) of Canadian Minister of Finance and former Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, François-Philippe Champagne.Regarding her professional life She works at ALTO: Anne-Marie Gaudet is the Vice President of Environment for ALTO, which is the Crown corporation responsible for developing the high-speed rail network connecting Quebec City to Toronto." - chatgpt Does this Liberal conflict of interest sh!t ever get called out by CBC or the Canadian MSM?

Because they used to actually try and fulfill the thing. In fact, much of Canadian history occurred because Liberals thought voters would notice if they never did anything.

I'm trying to find the exact moment the Liberals discovered they could just announce things, do literally nothing to fulfill the thing, and nobody would care.

We are deeply concerned by the Prime Minister’s comments today regarding the situation in Lebanon. Hezbollah is not a benign actor. It is a terrorist proxy of the Iranian regime and a global threat. Its presence extends even to Canada, as highlighted by recent U.S. sanctions on a BC company tied to Hezbollah. The Government of Lebanon has repeatedly demonstrated that it is either unable or unwilling to rein it in—failing to meet its pledge to disarm Hezbollah by the end of 2025, and even failing to follow through on expelling the Iranian ambassador after declaring him persona non grata. This underscores a broader inability to confront Iran’s influence. Meanwhile, civilians in northern Israel cannot be expected to live indefinitely under the constant threat of Iranian-backed missile fire. No democracy would accept such a reality for its citizens—and neither should Israel. It is also important to recall the Prime Minister’s own words from March 16: “Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel and the targeting of civilians must cease, and it must disarm. We condemn Hezbollah’s decision to join Iran in hostilities…” The question remains: why was this clarity absent today?
