Breaking: Notre Dame and USC have agreed to four-year contract to resume their rivalry, beginning in 2030. Games will be played early in the season, Week 1 in Los Angeles and South Bend in 2030 and 2031, respectively. Notre Dame's home-and-home with Indiana is off, per a source.

@bryce_spalding Sounds like you are fine w being the worst team in baseball. Your stance now seems to be, well if we cannot win it all then blow it up.

Nathaniel Lowe has the 22nd best OPS v RHP in all of baseball. Brady Singer has a 2.70 ERA since June 1st and makes every start. Tyler Stephenson has been a top 10 catcher in MLB the last 2+ months. Brock Burke has a 2.52 ERA while appearing in the 2nd most games across MLB. Caleb Ferguson is an established vet with postseason experience. Eugenio Suarez has a proven track record and can get hot in short spurts (hit massive HRs in last years postseason). You can’t tell me Nick Krall doesn’t have valuable assets at his disposal. Don’t tell me they shouldn’t trade them. They’re not winning the World Series. Finishing the season at or above .500 doesn’t mean anything. Letting valuable/quality players walk for nothing is the single dumbest and worst thing the #Reds FO can do today.

@JUhlTrucker @bryce_spalding They’ve already secured their profit by staying semi in the mix through 4th of July. That’s their annual objective. All the promotions remaining do the rest of the work. Ownership would be happy to shave off prorated salaries where possible to bump up their profit.

@bryce_spalding His job is to not let the bottom fall out so they don’t completely tank attendance. The ownership group is happy to win 81-84 games and keep attendance decent while profiting $$ from a small payroll and operating budget.

@UDCincyFan There is virtually zero interest in women’s basketball once these women move on from their college affiliations. No one will start anything like that because it’s a guaranteed way to set money on fire

I’d bet 80% of WNBA players quietly agree with Sophie Cunningham on no male athletes in women’s sports, and no “trans kids” agenda. A group of people should start the WBA: fewer teams, better player salaries, rotate games through college towns to actually grow the sport. Genuine interest would follow.
