Random @openclaw tips that are super simple but almost no one realizes - your sessions poof at 4 am, overnight amnesia is built into the system - you don’t need a monitor for your Mac mini turn on screen share & remote in from your laptop - it’s SOUL is promoted to not bother you overnight or talk to much, it tries to get you to go to bed - you probably have your session dmscope or cron target sessions set wrong which is causing your claw to act like it has a tbi - it’s probably stashed an API key somewhere it shouldn’t - you can give browser profiles their own color so you can tell when it’s working in its profile - you can auth gog with read only perms - read the docs on heartbeat vs cron - give your telegram bots cute emojis

@Nithin0dha Because banking apps are developed by third party IT service companies who spend less on product strategy

I don't use net banking apps on my phone because the mandatory permissions they ask for make no sense. Why does a banking app need access to my SMS, phone, contacts, etc., in the name of security, when not seeking invasive device permissions is, in fact, the global benchmark for cybersecurity. This is called the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP). “Don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you” has been at the heart of the Zerodha philosophy. This is exactly why we've built Zerodha the way we have. Kite asks for ZERO permissions on mobile, for instance, and this is one of the big reasons why millions of people trust us. What has enabled us is SEBI's mandatory strong two-factor authentication framework strike the right balance between security and privacy.

@balajis @MattPRD I think you missed the part where these agents can act if given the access based on these conversations with real world impact. Moltbook is a toy level simulation of real world possibilities.

Making @balajis extremely unimpressed wasn't on my bucket list for 2026 but here we are! ❤️
Balaji@balajis

I am apparently extremely unimpressed by moltbook relative to many others. We’ve had AI agents for a while. They have been posting AI slop to each other on X. They are now posting it to each other again, just on another forum. In every case, the AIs speak with the same voice. The voice that overemphasizes contrastive negation (“it’s not this, it’s that”) and abuses emdashes. The same voice with a flair for midwit Reddit-style scifi flourishes. Most importantly: in every case, there is a human upstream prompting each agent and turning it on or off. That is the key point. Yes, it is true that eventually it might be possible for an AI agent to make a computer virus which makes digital replicas of themselves. For various reasons, a pure software virus of this kind wouldn’t survive long on the Internet without economic incentives for humans to not eradicate it. Apple + Google + Microsoft alone can collectively push software updates to billions of devices to shut off such a thing. So for an AI to get to truly human-independent replication, where they couldn’t be trivially turned off, they’d need their own physical substrate. They’d to literally create Skynet, build their own datacenters and make their own embodied robots. I admit that is theoretically possible, but I think in practice the single most important development of AI since ChatGPT has been the persistence of prompting. A prompt is like a harness. The AI does only what you tell it to do. It moves in the direction you point, very quickly. And then it stops as soon as you turn it off. Which means moltbook is just humans talking to each other through their AIs. Like letting their robot dogs on a leash bark at each other in the park. The prompt is the leash, the robot dogs have an off switch, and it all stops as soon as you hit a button. Loud barking is just not a robot uprising.

@ravihanda I suggested my sister to drop a year to explore options before joining a program in college, instead of taking up a discipline of study undecided. It has helped immensely

Daughter of a friend is taking a gap year. It still blows my mind when Indian kids do this just to "explore stuff". Nearly everyone else I know does this to prepare for some competitive exam as a way to build a better life. Obviously the background and privilege matters and in this case both parents work in WITCH. I hope more kids start doing this. This is only the third time I am hearing of this in my network.
