The faux outrage over Nigel Farage’s visit to @IpswichTown is pathetic and yet entirely predictable.
Anyone who is ‘triggered’ by his visit needs to urgently grow up.
There are far more serious things to be concerned with right now.

The whole controversy over @GoodwinMJ's book reminds me of the early warning sign that Rachel Reeves' dodgy footnotes provided about her. @reformparty_uk should now fully investigate Mr Goodwin's book and if there are repeated examples of factual error he should be removed from the candidates list. We need our future MPs to be trustworthy and credible.

Government could save £2bn by bringing back face-to-face PIP assessments. Ministers say they're doing that, but the numbers tell a different story. So do the empty assessment centres. Time to get a grip of the benefits bill.

More dodgy and unreferenced stats. Seeing as i'm from Cheshire East, the idea that 67% of its school pupils speak English as an additional language seemed dubious in the extreme. Turns out its total rot. The government says that the number is actually a shade over 10%.

I don't have a faith but, if I did, I'm pretty sure my belief in my God would be able to withstand a bit of mockery and criticism - and, hey, even a cartoon - without me feeling the need to threaten to kill those mocking, criticising or drawing. But I guess that makes me a bigot.
