@JamesWathland If the major roadblock is Hughes not willing to admit his errors, then give him his P45 asap too. LFC is the biggest asset in FSG’s portfolio, so at this point Gordon should be under heat for not managing this organisation properly. Shake up needed from top down

Ultimately, that’s the crux of the problem. Salah has played on the heartstrings of a fanbase which, largely, wants Klopp/the Klopp era back. Whatever happens with Slot in the long-term, measuring every future manager against his predecessor is unlikely to end well for Liverpool.

Mo Salah is the best player I’ve seen play for Liverpool. He is and always will be a legend of the club and much of what he has said - in terms of this season not being good enough - is absolutely right. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has gone about things in the right way.

If the board were actually thinking of sacking Slot they would’ve sounded out Xabi Alonso and told him to wait. The fact he’s gone to Chelsea makes it obvious we don’t have any intention of sacking Slot and we’re stuck with him for the foreseeable future which doesn’t make sense

Some absolutely insane misconceptions about Xabi Alonso in the Liverpool fan base, like that he is dogmatic about playing back 3 or that his teams don't press high or play high tempo. Inexcusable fumble - they have to find different one, they are not turning it around with Slot.

The owners will not want this to carry on into next season. I don’t fully agree with the timing of Salah’s message but absolutely agree with it all. Slot has lost the players in my opinion, once that happens there’s no coming back. Fsg will know this and will act #LFC

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
