An afternoon of good racing flew by at @wincantonraces with some superb riding to win the races. An excellent Fursty Ferret before racing and a big thankyou to @Blaithineilism and the team for letting @CheltenhamRaces members in today, to enjoy the added races as well. Cheers!

@NE5westend Used to say in the 70's the reason why the acoustics were so good at the city hall was because the swimming pool was next door.

I was a doubtful runner at @SedgefieldRace today but had eaten up and been passed fit by the vet. Decent sized crowd and a lot of families in attendance. Sun is out but there's always a cool breeze. Worse things to be doing of a Friday.

Sorry for radio silence today .. Had some horrible news yesterday afternoon.. Hungry husbands 93 year mummy had stayed at his sisters over Easter , Sister has a very old house , very uneven floors , steps up ..steps down .. steps everywhere Well, poor old Rose took a flying lesson and went bang on the floor after falling down a step. She smashed her face up ..she has banged and hurt her arm and all sorts, She’s been under the doctor ever since , but home now .. so husband went down to stay with his mummy and they went for a walk in the fields behind her house.. I didn’t do a close-up photo as she’s not looking her best at the moment But I’m sure we wish her all the best for a speedy recovery and the colour in her cheeks goes back to normal soon.. God bless her …♥️♥️

Pleasure to pop in to Pontefract for the first 5 races this afternoon. Beautiful day, course in great nick and, by the looks/feel of things, the meeting drew a decent attendance too, one with friendly, happy vibe. No gimmicks, just folk enjoying the racing/good weather.

Well last night was fun. I opened the electric garage door and then it wouldn’t close. I managed to set to manual then couldn’t reset it. @sentrynimrod came over, reset it back to automatic (I didn’t have the strength) and it worked. It could have been a long night

@wass74 OMG Nigel, what a rollercoaster with Reading scoring an equaliser then Lincoln going ahead shortly after. You will remember this afternoon for the rest of your life. What an amazing result. Safe journey back to Lincolnshire all of you. Some of our extended family were there
