@D70692D @RodolpheWyatt @Majin0o @TBYSTweet I was defending your point. This fight literally uses this fight to show you that the ONLY attacks you should jump over are the ones with the diamond. Jump attacks are supposed reactionary while parry attacks are predictive.

The fact that 100% of us thought that jumping was the correct thing to do against this boss really says something about game design.

@AphoticGoblin @SpinoAxol It's situational protection that literally only gives you a point of damage reduction at 22 points of damage taken and that doesn't even take into account the fact protection makes even more damage need to account for 1 point. It's EXTREMELY negligible for the amount of effort.

@AphoticGoblin @SpinoAxol I actually think that netherite tools are good where they're at because they do have a clear long term benefit. They mine faster/do more damage. Where is the long term benefit of netherite armor? Any long term armor set is going to have mending.

@Tarumateo @Aviator_0001 @PixiePrototype The idea is to jump to avoid the shockwave. Iirc immediately after this there are shockwaves you jump to avoid. Either way, didn't have the yellow giant shockwave but I do kinda get the muscle memory kicking in from most other games

@AphoticGoblin @SpinoAxol Honestly netherite armor is barely an upgrade. It's KB resist and a durability increase which mending makes obsolete. Tools are the only thing that netherite really beats diamond on in the long term if you have a mending villager due to actually having better damage/efficiency

Roundabouts need to be more prevalent. Outside of hitting a deer every crash I've personally seen has been at a stoplight.

I actually attribute this to lack of GOOD public transportation. Because by having more people on the road there's more bad drivers.

There's a decent amount of "oh you progressed a tiny bit too far now this quest character is dead/not working with you" with my immediate thought is Moore being easy to fuck up
