MIT econ chair says rent control is terrible. His framing is milquetoast. Rent control proponents should be treated like flat earthers, climate change deniers, moon landing hoax believers. They reject science and reason to promote one of the worst policies.

@RigolAlbert És el clàssic problema d'incentius. Regules el preu, sembla que funciona però estàs baixant l'oferta de pisos. Has d'incentivar que augmenti l'oferta de lloguer, cosa que regulant preus no fas.

El preu del m2 de lloguer a BCN no està a 30€ (WTF). Està contingut des de fa un any i mig per sota dels 17€. El topall funciona.
Ara bé, la dificultat per trobar un pis assequible està incrementant: els contractes vigents han caigut i el m2 és un 7% més car que fa un any.
