Sadece davetle girilen gizli hile Discord sunucusuna katılan bir CS2 oyuncusu, haftalarca normal bir hileci gibi davranarak üyelerin güvenini kazandı. Daha sonra hileyi satın alarak "en güvenli config" adı altında, aslında VAC sistemini anında tetikleyecek tuzak bir dosya hazırlayıp grupta paylaştı.
Bu sözde "güvenli" dosyayı indirip Premier modunda maça giren hileciler peş peşe VAC banı yiyerek hesaplarından oldu. Hileciler Discord'da olayın şokuyla yedikleri banları ve iptal edilen maçları paylaşarak panik yaşadılar.

Part of me genuinely wishes for CS2 to die.
I want the developers to start losing money.
I want them to start worrying.
I want them to start caring.

@renyan Riot don't have the most dominant PC gaming storefront that prints money for them, so they actually have a need for their games to do well.

In almost 3 years we received 0 actual Anti-Cheat updates, that improved the quality of matchmaking.
VAC can’t detect even the most blatant rage hacking.
CS2 BETA was filled with rage hackers and so is Season 5.
They are making hundreds of millions, but it seems like they don’t spend even 1% of that towards dealing with the real issues.

After the switch from Season 4 to Season 5, Valve released a small manual ban wave.
The bans targeted Premier leaderboard players, only those at the top of the leaderboard and accounts with extremely high win rates.
The wave focused on rage cheaters, semi-rage cheaters, and players with very obvious cheating behavior.
These manual bans are hidden and do not show up on the affected players' Steam profiles.
