Dan Calatropio Named ACBL Pitcher of the Week South Amboy, NJ (June 2026) – The Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL) has named Essex Legends right-handed pitcher Dan Calantropio as Pitcher of the Week for his dominant performance in Game 1 of Tuesday, June 16 doubleheader. The Boonton, NJ native and Stevens Institute of Technology freshman delivered a standout outing, pitching 6 strong innings in a 7-0 shutout victory over the NJ Sugar Kings. Calantropio allowed just 3 soft-contact hits, struck out 6 batters, and showed excellent command throughout. He displayed toughness by wanting to finish the 7th inning and was backed by the Legends’ usual strong defense.
