Moltbook was bad for this space, even tho it ran to $100m. It was a pump & dump and there was no wealth effect. VVV has been good for this space. We should be rooting for QUALITY projects to succeed. I don’t want to hear any more bullshit from ppl saying we need runners. Without substance, runners are liquidity black holes. Ppl say they want a better space but then keep promoting dog shit. 🤷

In what is the biggest few days coming up in crypto for me, I'm honoured to announce I've been onboarded as a @base ambassador!
For me, with my interests and background, Base is the best place across crypto. To be given the opportunity to be an ambassador is a huge thrill.
In reality, not a lot changes in terms of how things evolve from here. My Base Weekly Show launches in two weeks and I'll be out and about IRL at events across the APAC region over the coming months. I'll be covering all things base and linked in keenly with all things @baseapac.

But then you realise relying on an external source to do your work is retarded.
Do the work. Be impossible to not feature. Stop holding a spotlight in such regard.

I agree with you. The theme of the feedback last year was the frustration with siloed support of one specific protocol and use case at the expense of everything else. People wanted more support for projects and builders across the ecosystem. Looking at recent post history it's clear they are doing that. Broad support doesn't mean only supporting the trending metas, so maybe a memecoin gets a nod during AI season. The overwhelming amount of content is supporting builders right now.
You can't buy every token, so people can just scroll and not buy if they don't like something. I'm not in the mood to get rugged by a new memecoin today so I scrolled on.

Time to support @base
I was hard on base last 8 months or so, and I think the team has learned and moved onto being more focused on building the best trading experience and supporting the right builders on @base
Maybe I am ahead of consensus, I was bearish when everyone was too bullish and now I am bullish when people are experiencing max pain.
It’s a learning progress for all of us, base is coming out of this better than ever.

the idea that me or the base team is peddling something is not reflective of reality a funny copypasta blew up about all of the incredible innovation happening on base. I saw it and posted it before I went to bed because it's funny and a fun way to bring attention to what everyone is cooking. I didn't even know there was a memecoin. people will create a coin for anything that gets attention. assuming that something is getting attention because there's a coin is misattributing where the attention is coming from. it's coming from the funny meme that's going viral on X, not a coin that came downstream of it. all of this is the primordial soup of the internet. we can have fun and participate in it and also innovate and change the world. happy tuesday
