Interesting 🤔
In my opinion, it’s going to be:
$MSTR 🥇
$IBIT 🥈
$STRC 🥉
Thoughts?

If $STRC were a Bitcoin treasury company, it would rank #3 globally with ~50,423 BTC

for a decade, the entire crypto industry attempted to kill its golden (orange?) goose for their own gain.
they said bitcoin was too slow, too technologically unsophisticated, environmentally catastrophic.
they spin up a multiplicity of air tokens and exchanges to trade them.
an entire industry of people dedicated to trying to get you to sell your bitcoin in exchange for something they made for free.
then Saylor came along and amplified for all to hear the two principles that have been clear to every bitcoin maximalist since the beginning:
1) there is no second best
2) never sell your bitcoin
and he built his entire company around these principles to prove that bitcoin could work in the way Hal and Satoshi imagined: as base layer capital for a bitcoin bank.
and all of those air tokens and air token exchanges - who needs them?
it’s no wonder the entire crypto industry hates him, but it’s very unclear to me how anyone who calls themselves a bitcoin maximalist could hate a man who instantiated bitcoin maximalism as the foundation of his company.
grubles@notgrubles
Nearly the entire crypto industry is centered around trying to get you to not buy or use Bitcoin.

@allenf32 I think I know which one. I did think it was a bit callous having no regard for the victim if the video was released. Glad you deleted.

I deleted an inappropriate tweet from yesterday that I basically didn't think through before posting.
I won't repeat the context but I reacted to a post implying (yet again) the UK government is hiding evidence of horrific crimes so as not to upset people by alerting them that these crimes exist at all.
what I suggested has equally horrific implications that, blinded by anger, I didn't intend and for which I apologize.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I’m completely devastated.
Last Friday, I️ was notified that my monetization had been paused.
I’ve shown up on this app for 5 years straight every single day to grow my account to what it is now. I️ never once paid for ads, never bought followers, never did anything but grow in an organic way.
After appealing once, I️ was told my account was removed due to spam and inauthentic content. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I️ spend 6-12 hours on X daily in addition to my full time job; creating content, interacting and posting. I’ve adapted to new algorithms, posting strategies and even started a newsletter. I️’ve stopped using any other online platforms as I️ truly value the freedom and community X has brought me. Every single holiday, family event, vacation, wedding, birthday, you name it, I’ve been active on X during it.
I’ve never once taken for granted the audience I’ve grown on this app and have thoroughly enjoyed the relationships I’ve built because of it. During this last period in which I️ was removed, I️ proposed to my girlfriend of 7 years. During this proposal trip, I️ stayed active online the entire time, which is nothing new. I have given up years of time to create something bigger with no regret. But now, after being denied and repeatedly called a spam account, with no way to plead my case, my last resort is to post here.
Having to do this publicly feels so pathetic. It’s been almost a week and 2 appeals later, and I️ can’t get in touch with anyone who’s willing to help. I haven’t been given any clarification of where I️ went wrong or if there is a pathway to resolution. How can I️ dedicate myself so profoundly to something for so many years without being given any chance to make a simple change in my form of content? I’ve never had my account flagged or even been told of any misconduct in a 5 year period. The first I️ hear of an issue is ironically on pay day after spending hours upon hours working online during my vacation.
I️ don’t expect everyone to be able to understand the severity of this situation because they will never see the time, sacrifices and work put into growing an account from 0 followers to over 260k. I️ can’t begin to explain the things I’ve sacrificed to get to the point of being a creator and I️ can’t help but feel like the platform has failed me.
To you, this may just be a lighthearted meme account you follow. To me, this has altered my life. I️ was committing to go full time on X and even put in notice at my full time job. It is every content creators dream to be able to take this on full time, and to have it taken away from you almost as soon as you got it, feels gut wrenching.
Over the last 2 years I’ve told everyone how important it is to get a blue checkmark, pay for premium and begin to monetize their account. I️ couldn’t have been louder about how much I️ love this platform and truly felt it was the only platform worth being on. The freedom I️ was given was amazing up until now. I️ truly never thought something like this would happen.
All of this to say, I️ am not a spam account and I️ deserve reconciliation. I️f there is a specific thing I’ve done wrong, I️ will adapt my content to no longer do so. But a permanent suspension with a false reasoning will never be okay with me. I️ would hope that you are also not okay with taking away the livelihood of the creators on a platform that prides itself on free speech.

I did. It reads like you just found out about Strategy two weeks ago
Not only do you not speak about a few crucial elements of the financial structure, you ignore the mechanics that make it work (because you don’t understand it yet yourself, but think you do)
“Interest expense is going to rise”. You mean dividend liability. And yes, their liability going up is the entire purpose of what they are doing. It’s like saying Apple iPhone sales will go up. No shit.
“Bitcoin could go down” is a really poor counter argument for the long term as evidenced by its entire history. Doesn’t need a further explanation. In the short term, it’s down 50% and they’ve been increasing their rate of capital raising via ATM sales. The exact opposite of the claim you attempt to make
“MSTR will end up below NAV”. For how long? You mean like in the 2022 bear market and nothing happened? We’re in a bear market now and it’s above NAV. Why do you think that is and how does it become a problem if it’s not? MSTR shareholders have continuously won since the treasury change, through multiple evolutions of the company, to its current state today. One that has it positioned as strong as it’s ever been. Shareholders are receiving the convexity they’ve been promised. Bitcoin Per Share continues rising. They aren’t losing. You just don’t know how to properly assess it. I promise you, the dilution trope is the biggest alarm that someone has no idea what they are talking about or fundamentally do not believe or understand Bitcoin. For your sake, I hope it’s just lack of depth on the subject here
The issue isn’t that you make these claims. Many have before you. The issue is you ignore amplification (maybe you don’t know what that means), you ignore the monetization of volatility, you ignore what accretive dilution actually means.
And the biggest one of all, not a single person can explain how a “failure” happens with real world data and rationale. Because no data proves the doomsday scenario people have wanted to claim will happen. It’s not a serious conversation. Neither is saying “they could fail in 50 years”.
In fact, the average life span of a company in the S&P 500 is only 15 years. Is Strategy a wild success if they are the same size they are today and haven’t failed? You’d be betting that Bitcoin itself has failed.
Bold claim.

My manager gave me three options: do nothing and let the resentment from working too hard for too little pay build up even more, document all the reasons I deserve a raise and wait a few months for our director to approve or deny it, or resign.
I chose to resign.

Tomorrow I’m asking for a 20% raise. Since I was already planning to quit on Friday, I figured I might as well swing for the fences first. If they give it to me, that’ll be enough to keep me motivated in the short term…if not, I walk as planned.
