@Based_Otto @BallisticRooks @RedBoulderPunch It's mixed, some like his fixes and more cast work, but personally they just not as fun and undercut cool premise for sake of fixing something and doing something way worse in the end. OMD unmaking was clear and behind the scenes clearly took it away.

Pre-Superior ASM is actually pretty solid. The supporting cast still leaves a lot to be desired but the actual Spider-Man side of things was still at least pretty new and engaging. Spider-Island’s actually really fun and cool

@RedBoulderPunch Dan Slott took dog shit Paul Jenkins villain and made Spider-Island. Pre-2014 Dan Slott had that motion, that momentum of actually pushing Spider-man into fun direction that got lacking post Superior and everyone after him who tried "to fix" just made me groan of boredom.

God, Silk really is one of those characters where they just straight up can never refer to or use her origins ever. Like whenever Insomniac Spider-Man 3 comes out in 8 years her backstory is just gonna be completely whole cloth original and it'll probably be the new default

@RedBoulderPunch I liked all the slott stuff that wasn't spider-verse. Thought the Superior stuff was good at times and worth it for the "It's you." Moment, all the tech CEO Peter stuff was largely enjoyable. Honestly, I'm quite shocked the Spencer stuff is so well received, can't understand it
