@Velo_doc A lot of HS coaches get paid for doing nothing and perform terribly. Not all coaches are good. Not all situations are the same. Making a blanket statement like that just gives bad coaches more power.

If you are a parent trying to run a HS coach off for your kid not playing I got news for ya You are doing your kid a disservice, you are probably a bad person, and in the long run you’ll definitely find that out The stories I’m hearing from multiple HCs across DFW are baffling and some of yall need a reality check for dang sure Raising spoiled brats ain’t it yall

@NorCalU1 parents in the stands are extra chirpy. Up by 10 against a team that is 1-10 and they are b1tching for calls. Have some class. Know the game. But constant chirping on social media is not helping.

WE NEED TO CLEAN UP AMATEUR BASEBALL. Coaches all over the country, challenging each other. Players yelling and calling other coaches pussies! Constant chirping in dugouts, especially high school. This absolutely has to stop. We don’t need some kind of “nice Coach certification“ or anything like that. The people that are out in front need to stand up for what’s right and bring back civility and responsibility. It’s literally an epidemic. What can we do to fix this?

@BrandonJ6809 @devenmorgan I work with Varsity kids who struggle to throw people out. But the OKD style looks cool. 13 is a good age to learn pickoffs and stealing and still be fine when they ALL reach the show at 20 like Konnor.

@BLocsports I hate listening to those guys and their bullshit commentary. The pitcher’s stuff might be “gross” or nasty when facing the JV, but how would capable minor leaguers treat the guy?

Parents are willing to believe anything about their kids. Players are looking for an edge. Driveline and their copycats aren’t good at developing ⚾️ players, but they are experts at marketing. People are lazy and want a quick, easy fix. Not hard work and patience.
