【速報】東大が米ハーバード大留学生の受け入れ調整中 東大が米ハーバード大学の留学生を受け入れる方向で調整していることが分かった。5月26日、東京大学新聞社の取材に東大が答え、受け入れ態勢は検討中とのこと。 米トランプ政権は、5月22日に同大学への留学生受け入れ認可を停止した。在校中の同大留学生に対しても転学か米国の在留資格の喪失を選ぶよう迫っていた。現在、米国の裁判所がこの措置を暫定的に差し止めている。米政権とハーバード大は今回の措置以前からDEI（多様性・公平性・包摂性）推進や学生の取り締まりなどで対立していた。 藤井輝夫・東大総長は5月13日に「本学のDEI推進について」と題したメッセージを東大ウェブサイトで公開。「世界の大学におけるDEI推進の取り組みに支持を表明し、ともに歩んで」いくと述べている。
