@Bat_Scholar_

Christian. Husband. Father. Game Designer. Nationalist. I might dabble in a little Dark Alchemy from time to time... Not a OkLocker but I'm a huge fan.

"One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This saying is true." Group judgements are not impermissible. We don't get to make up laws and duct tape them to Christianity; we submit to what is told to us.

@walterwhitepill I don't hate her but she should just stick to raising her children in peace. It's not a woman's place to be a culture warrior, especially not when she has a family to look after.

It's not just a moral test, it's a test of discernment+programmability. Nobody knew who this woman was before September, when her husband was murdered leaving their toddlers fatherless, and if you got immediately programmed to hate and mock her, you are a programmable person.

how someone answers this is a helpful rubric for deciding should you pay any attention to any of their views. Do they display first level, second level, or third level thinking?

@Mattman34 The irony of asking this when the Creed is essentially just a confession of explicitly what Scripture says against manmade speculation as to what it "really means" is pretty funny.

The Nicene Creed was formulated to battle the Arian heresy. If the Bible is perspicuous as many “sola scripturists” claim, how did Arius misinterpret it on the fundamental doctrine of the divinity of Christ? Why’d so many people become Arians? Did the Bible alone fix the problem?

I want to do a scifi RPG set in the far future with humans having colonized most of our galaxy. I'm thinking the game would take place in a different galaxy that the Earth empire lost contact with several years ago as you're sent on an exploration and investigation mission.

It's so hard to come up with good names for things. I decided to start jotting a few ideas for my next planned game project while I have nothing better to do but I can barely come up with any good sounding names for factions and things lol.

@GermanicFren @Nancy023922191 It's pretty well established from DNA that they are. Modern secular archeology doesn't even believe there was a distinct Israelite people they just say they were an offshoot of Canaanites. No doubt because the only ones claiming descent are undeniably Canaanites.

@EvangelicalDW Vibe coding isn't sustainable. If you can't actually read and write code you're inevitably gonna create systems that break and have no idea how to even fix it. AI is just a scam to hire more Indians.

@NotGrengoli The OP seemed like a typical low IQ philosemite. There's nothing irrational about not liking x group even though you like y member. People literally can't think in categories.

@ArtGrs @DadaAlpaca We actually don't share 98% of our DNA with apes. That was a very outdated study before the human and chimp genomes were both fully sequenced. It's actually more like 85%

@DadaAlpaca Genetics is a field that we don't fully understand. We share 98% of DNA with apes and 97.5% with mice. But what you said is not true. The genetic distance between any two human populations is way less than between subspecies like dogs and wolves +

I've done the Ark and Creation Museum with my kids. Found Hamm's defense of "Kinds" and the flood compelling if not convincing. One question that wasn't answered, the biological forces resulting in the speciation and adaption from one pair of kinds over 6,000ish years had no effect on humans who started with 3× the genetic diversity. Why? What mechanism exempts humans from these forces and how?
