@BayBills @MichaelFFlorio For sure, the whole point for me is that the team overachieved this year. Does that mean they’ll be back? Absolutely not, nobody is guaranteed to go back. But you’d rather have this year than them going 9-8 and missing the playoffs but Maye looking good

“They’ll be back” is often said in football, but it just flat out isn’t true very often
Only 4 QBs ever won a Super Bowl after losing their first appearance. Jalen Hurts is the only one of the last 20 to even make it back

@Trevor_Nading @MichaelFFlorio Even though Maye’s overall postseason performance was the worst of any QB ever to make a SB I think he’s probably better than mid, but jury’s still out. There’s a little regular season blindness we all have from the MVP schedule he was gifted.

@MichaelFFlorio Most of those QB’s were mid at best. (Delhomme, Grossman, Jimmy G, etc.) I’d like to know is how many that win their first make it back? I’d guess it’s similar. Which just tells me it’s really hard to make the Super Bowl and most make it only once or not at all

Lots of chatter about the WR screen game, but what most people don’t realize is that on most 2nd and 3rd and long plays, the Bills would send in two plays. One of those plays was the built in screen. If for any reason Josh didn’t like the look or sensed a blitz coming he could check to the screen..

Just let players taunt. Who cares. There's a play clock for a reason. If they can't get to where they're supposed to be for the next play then they'll suffer the consequences then.

@ChatterBuffalo I don’t dislike Flores as much as a lot of people seemingly do, but if we don’t get an offensive HC I’ll be so disappointed. In the last 10 Super Bowls, there has been a defensive HC 4 times. In the last 6 years there have been 0.

@TheChrisLambert @SneakyJoeSports We’ve seen this exact situation happen several times though. And it’s always been ruled a catch to the WR. I’ve actually never seen it go to the DB. Would love to see another example out there. Even if it’s a tie, ties also go to WR.

The rule doesn't say "surviving the DB ripping at the ball after the play is over"

Gene does a great job explaining this. If the Cooks hit the ground and the ball simply popped out, no one would argue that it was a catch. He didn't complete the process. Because McMillan secured it before it touched the ground, it's an obvious INT.
