To: Ministry of Internal Affairs @mia_uga Cc: CDF @mkainerugaba , AIGP @igp_ug1 Office of the President @KagutaMuseveni Subject: Clarification on Public Representation of Banyarwanda in Uganda Your Excellencies, We, Banyarwanda living peacefully in Uganda, write about public statements by Mr. @FrankGashumba who claims to speak for us! 1. Our position : We are settled, grateful residents of Uganda. Many of us have benefited from education, scholarships, and employment here. We consider Uganda our home and have no issues with our Ugandan community. 2. Our concern : We believe Mr. Frank Gasumba public statements do not represent the views of 99.9% of Banyarwanda here. The claims of widespread mistreatment create a false picture that may damage Uganda-Rwanda relations. 3. The danger : In his speeches, Mr. Frank Gashumba threatens to start up #M23 in Uganda. Such remarks threaten Uganda’s security as a state. 4. Our appeal : Security agencies should take legal action against Mr. Frank Gashumba . Uganda must be protected from those who use drama and lies to create division. We remain loyal, peaceful residents committed to Uganda’s stability! Yours faithfully, Concerned Banyarwanda Residents in Uganda.

We would ALL snap exactly like @ReachDrMuganga did. Imagine watching fellow nominees with dual citizenship sail through vetting while you get blocked. Imagine the Chairperson of the committee telling you that you are being “sacrificed” because the committee has to get someone to “sacrifice”. We would react way worse! Most of you are screaming about his expired Rwandan passport but not so loud about his Canadian passport. Is this accidental? Absolutely not. Muganga’s rage is 100% justified. Put yourself in his shoes; you would be burning bridges too.

@GovUganda 3/3 Workplace Safety & Public Health Infrastructure As Uganda accelerates major infrastructure developments—like the upcoming New Karuma Bridge project—and expands its manufacturing footprint, industrial health and safety standards must keep pace.

@GovUganda 1/1 Economic Resilience & Cost of Living While macro indicators show export growth and a stable exchange rate, the immediate focus on the ground remains the day-to-day cost of living. Fuel prices continue to drive up transport and commodity costs.

I had a good interaction this morning with the Appointments committee of @parliament chaired by the Speaker Rt Hon @ObothOboth as they carry out their constitutional duty ( Provided for in Article 113(1)) of vetting & assessing the suitability of ministerial appointees. I thank the Rt Hon OO @ObothOboth, Rt Hon @Thomas_Tayebwa , the Leader of opposition Rt Hon @JoelSsenyonyi and the Hon members of the committee for the cordial and collegial interaction in regards to my plans for the agriculture sector. Once again, I thank H.E @KagutaMuseveni for giving me the opportunity to continue serving my country in the biggest sector of our economy- Agriculture!

There is a vise by @CentenaryBank Uganda of giving money less than the actual money at the ATM. This is usually done to unsuspecting Pensioners and elderly people. I believe our money is not safe at the Masaka branch. The money is usually 5% of the requested amount.

@sejudav It is baffling. Modern leadership demands results, not rigid dress codes. I actually ditched ties three years ago myself. Seeing "educated" African leaders prioritize suits over substance is exhausting. Turning off that trash for real connection was definitely the right call!

Thank you for pointing out DSTV, but there others too; like our EDUCATION ITSELF. I heard yesterday on my TRANSITOR 📻 , a whole "grown" man, raise a POINT OF ORDER in Parliament that his colleague hadn't put on a SUIT WITH A TIE! And he quoted RULE 18...I still remember it! These are the people we spent trillions "educating" and now putting into LEADERSHIP! THESE ARE THE LEADERS AFRICA HAS! I switched off the radio and went to meet my friends who had come to visit me, was so happy than listening to that trash....

How did others do it? It is not like we saw Chinese youths close schools to celebrate European football; they are the second largest economy in the World! We didn't see it happen in Japan, people who were able to REBULD after TWO NUCLEAR ATTACKS; We did not see it happen in Iran, people who have STOOD TALL AND SAVED THEIR COUNTRY FROM CONQUEST LIKE LIBYA! We even didn't see it in UK itself, or Germany cities, or Russian cities....These are developed countries; but us; who hunt WILF YAMS and MUSU for supper have the time and resources to celebrate Arsenal victory and close schools and roads? What does it show about our COGNITIVE INTERGRITY AS A PEOPLE? We can argue and abuse, but REALITY ULTIMATELY CATCHES UP WITH FOOLS!
