Bo Nix outgunned Josh Allen, Jordan Love and Patrick Mahomes down the stretch of the season last year and they are still saying the Broncos defense carried them.
Bo was better than Caleb Williams AND Drake Maye in the playoffs last year and these people still dismiss him.

@SleeperBroncos Mahomes will be rusty AT BEST, and may not even play. Catching KC in week 1 is the best case scenario. At worst Denver will face a rusty Mahomes, a brand new defense. That game could be played on the moon and Denver will be favored.

@TexasAuburnFan @NixToWaddle Having the best Drs and rehab staffs will know when it’s best to come back. If they say he’s good then he will be the one to determine if he’s ready. No different than Peterson or Miller when they were ready for week 1

@Bdred88 @NixToWaddle I think between the two of them, Mahomes is definitely the most in peril. I just hope KC is smart. 17 game season is a long one. Every game counts. Hate to win the battle only to lose the war. Starting 0-1 but not rushing Mahomes back is a small price to pay

@NixToWaddle That is a big assumption. Yes he seems to be ahead of schedule on rehab but doing rehab in a weight room and playing football are two different things. I am sure he plans/wants to play, but he might have to be protected from himself

@TheBillsGuys Andy, Spags, Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones and in first stage Tyreek Hill won all those SBs and AFCCGs. Not UDFAs will all reapect to them. Josh never had that in McD, OCs and DCs, especially 3 future HOFs (or close) on the roster

I know it’s difficult to make the Bills roster so UDFAs are less likely to come here, but the difference between the Bills list and the Chiefs is pretty staggering.

Do not personally like Allen's upside as a WR, slight build, does not show a lot of refinement as a route runner, iffy hands.
He is quick and can be helpful as a punt returner, but I highly prefered Kevin Coleman Jr. for the Chiefs

@RandyElenberger He’s a flashy player, but as a coverage guy, they made the better decision for their defense in my opinion. My problem isn’t with the player, it’s with their priorities.

The Chiefs picking Jadon Canady, best suited to play in the slot, doesn’t make you feel great about Chris Roland-Wallace’s future or the Kader Kohou signing! Fine player, but was this necessary for a team that could DESPERATELY use another long-term pass catcher at TE or WR?
