I'm very excited to share that the Kline lab is moving to Geneva, my new position at @MIMOL_UNIGE starts May 2022! We've had 10 happy years in Singapore and our @SCELSE_SG lab will stay open until current members finish up. We're going to need a new Twitter handle.🤔Ideas?

Our lab has shown that protein nanocages can be used to formulate Pickering #nanoemulsions. Nanoemulsions are challenging to achieve due to the curvature of the oil droplets (smaller particles = higher curvature) but protein nanocages make it possible.

There are more to be done to decipher the biophysics and to explore their applications!

We have been working on protein cage as MRI contrast agent. This time we thoroughly characterised the cores of magnetoferritin and show its use in enhancing T2 contrast of macrophages. The project is a collaboration with @vpdravid group at @nuancecenter sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
