@imRohit_SN Thank you for saying that - Klaasen needs to at least make himself available for ODIs again, we need him at next year's WC. I do however believe it's an issue with Conrad - when he took over the white ball teams Klaasen retired

The likes of Heinrich Klaasen, Nicholas Pooran being the shadow of their former selves should be warning bells for the current gen of up and coming T20 players. To remain the best you need to play the best as much as you can. I understand the financial part of it, and it's fair that players look to maximise their earnings during their short careers. But even from their pov, someone like Pooran, who's only 30, will be maximising his chances of playing top flight leagues with good pay if he can stay on top of his game. Instead, he might end up playing a plethora of leagues year round to make as much or slightly lower if his value in a league like IPL goes down.

@shockerhess @NeilManthorp Nah can’t say that, think of Smith, Warner… He fffd up, but he’s young and can always come back. My question is, have we heard his side? Why did he do what ge did? As a professional player, no flights are booked, contracts signed, or NOC is ever just done by the player alone…

How can there be no coming back. He made a mistake, was most probably badly advised. He is a good cricketer, will learn and definitely come back from this!
