Just putting this out there: The base PS5 is still fine. You don't really need a Pro model. The Pro is better, yes, but it's far from necessary.
Don't let FOMO guide your decisions, especially when the product is multiple hundreds of dollars.

This is definitely a community driven rumour, but I'll indulge it. They are pulling back from PC due to low sales and potential risks to their Console driven brand. So instead, they are decided to ditch Steam for their own launcher?
Sony launching a PC store today would be like leaving the biggest mall in the world to open a shop in an empty parking lot. The sales they had on steam would be significantly worse; there's no chance the extra 30% would make up for that.
Want to make sure your live service games dies day one? Put it on your own launcher.
Going day and date for their single player games was never in the card. Suggesting this now, when the company is going into the direction of exclusives, is a farce.

Sony helped publish it and provided the engine, and got first release rights but Kojima owns Death Stranding and can release it anywhere after the timed exclusivity.

Guerrilla Games The Sony studio Decima engine is a proprietary owned Sony technology that DS runs on.. it’s in everyway a Sony game bro🤷🏾♂️

Am I wrong in feeling like this completely disrespects the amount of time and effort that went into working on a games visuals? Graphics and art style are often intentional. Not everything needs to be photorealistic, or more photorealistic than they are already are

📢 Call of Duty: #Warzone Over the past year, we’ve learned a lot from introducing bots through Casual experiences across Battle Royale and Resurgence. Those modes helped us better understand how to deliver the best gameplay experience in Call of Duty: Warzone across the player population. With the launch of Black Ops Royale in Season 02 Reloaded, we’re continuing to build on those learnings with a regional matchmaking test in the new mode. As part of this test, starting next week bots may be introduced into select Black Ops Royale lobbies in Europe and the Middle East only. We will, as always, gauge success based on player data and player feedback. For those of you who play Casuals, the current global BR Casual playlist will not be active initially while we run these tests. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause near term. We simply are striving to always put forward the best gameplay experience possible.

Battlefield 6 was the best-selling game of 2025, it made AT LEAST $490 Million in revenue within 3 days of launch. It was the first FPS in 18 years to outsell Call of Duty.
Despite this, DICE was still hit with layoffs. The game industry is run by obnoxiously greedy sociopaths
