I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Race swapping Snape and most of the students, including Hermione, completely kills the immersion in HBO’s Harry Potter show. Snape was written as a thin, greasy haired man with a pale, sneering face. Turning the story into one about racism destroys its internal themes, and ruins the story. This show was over for me the moment it chose tokenism over staying faithful to the books.

Ridiculous. Everyone who is a Catholic is manipulated by a magisterium that long ago abandoned the gospel and any strict adherence to the scriptures. We Protestants are required to confirm even the sermons we hear and the songs we sing at church against the Bible.
