@bazdjcooper I assume that the two windows includes the current one with the other being the January 26 window? For what it’s worth it’s quite refreshing to see the club trading in a more sustainable and robust manor under the current restrictions. Football is spiralling out of control.

I wouldn't ever want to be Chancellor for all the money in the world. Incredibly tough job. Impossible ask. Especially over the last decade. How do you try to piece together the mis-shapen, independent jigsaw pieces of consumer issues, business, the economy, bond markets, stock markets, job markets, world economies, tariffs, and more. People often lambast Chancellors as 'unqualified' but no one is qualified to do such a broad job. Ultimately it is a political role for someone with hopefully some understanding of wider economic, financial and consumer issues. We have to give some respect to those who try, even if we disagree with their decisions. As no one will ever get it all right.

@Victoria_Spratt Inflation, increase in quality(cost) to rightly meet higher net zero ambitions, bio diversity net gain requirements etc and a move to social rent means this is a significant real terms cut. Grant rates of 40%+ are needed in many areas of the north just to get close to break even.

The constant changes in approach, lack of apparent strategy at the club, sacking managers, high turnover of players or potentially appointing someone with an undesirable track record of views towards others in society?

Name mentioned elsewhere today but told Antalyaspor manager Emre Belözoğlu is the leading candidate for @HullCity job having been considered previously by Acun Ilicali. Controversial past. Suspended prison sentence in 2014 for using racist slur during game in 2012. #hcafc (1/2)

Ruben Selles leaves #HCAFC with his reputation enhanced. Mission accomplished! He'd just got to know a club that: - Used 48 players last season - Signed 25 players since last summer Top managers have always told me in interviews that they need a core of 15-18 players!

@mikewhitesport @bazdjcooper getting fed up with the circus around Hull City that the owner seems intent to continue with. I can’t get to games these days so my opinion is probably void for most but the club needs a proactive plan not this reactive approach. I say keep Selles

@mikewhitesport I think Selles is a manager that will get better with time and the ability to shape his squad. Reading fans back this up too.

I didn’t touch on this in my thread earlier but shouldn’t be overlooked. City’s defensive improvement should be credited to Selles, but with a nod to some players who are easy targets for some. Lack of goals is result of some questionable recruitment in that area. #hcafc

@The1904Club Selles is a strong leader, the team was organised, motivated and a performance from every player. Pandur came back in and was solid again, great result and confidence to take forward. However the problem remains the turnover of players, the club needs stability and a strategy.
