I don't care if people choose to be anonymous on social media. That's their choice. But you can't expect people to take you as seriously if you are hiding behind a fake name and image of a dog, cat, statue, cartoon character, etc. Not expending time and energy on that.

@BernieSanders It is not true that the “poor are getting poorer”. That is your own hyperbolic misrepresentation of the data. The poor have also become richer, by any metric you would care to analyze. If you disagree please show me your data.

Here is the truth. A tiny handful of incredibly wealthy individuals exercise enormous control over our economic and political system. And what does that mean? Decade after decade, it remains the same: the rich get richer, while the poor and working class get poorer.

Physicians in Florida should be able to practice medicine and express opinions without facing sanctions simply because they are not parroting the prevailing "narrative."

@coldxman Not sure I understand what would change even if the hypothesis is true? It’s China, not Cuba. How would we respond? Declare war on China? No. We would know what we already know, that the Chinese government is not our friend.

At this point, I would bet money that the lab leak hypothesis is true. And if it is true, and was suppressed by Fauci & Collins, it would constitute one of the most heinous coverups in history.

@roderickgraham I don’t want white people to think of themselves as “white” and therefore concerned about a set of interests somehow distinct from “non-whites”. If we can’t appeal to everyone to adopt a common set of interests and values, we’re doomed to endless conflict and violence.

@JeremyDBoreing Science never claims to be “settled” and “accepted as fact at all times”. Quite the opposite. All truth claims are considered provisional and will always be subject to revision or refutation. You seem to think science is weak because it is not certain. That’s a strength.

There are people who committed no violent acts on January 6th that are STILL rotting in a DC prison because our corrupt government wants to teach people who think they can stand against totalitarianism a lesson. They are quite literally, political prisoners.

@PaulVanderKlay Perhaps you could suspend your irritation long enough to allow the LGBT community their celebration. By comparison, it’s less irritating than religious holidays which insist on celebrating myths, magic, and human sacrifices. At least this one is centered on real social progress.

@roderickgraham You can apply it to any human being on the planet. There are few things more corrosive of a person’s well-being than reinforcing their self-pity and telling them “the system” is against them. Try building a successful life with those themes as your guiding principles.
