Million dollar idea: Remember hidden tracks on Cds? Bring those back but instead of music it’s “Alexa order all of (insert band’s name) Cds.”

You’re miles deep in the wilderness. Zero cell service. No sat phone. No camera. Completely alone. You find a dead Bigfoot… and it’s WAY too big to move. What do you do? 👇 #Bigfoot

i’m at this airport bar called the “Bud Light Lounge” Bud Light logos on the tables. Bud Light logos on the walls. Servers wearing Bud Light shirts. You are not going to fucking believe what they don’t have in draft or bottle form, at all, not even on the menu.

@Bugimus I have spent time with Meldrum and Bob Gimlin. Between them, I was 100% in. However, it’s getting to the point where I feel we are reaching the limit of credulity in making excuses for the PG film. I really hope it stands the test of time, but I fear we may be coming to a nexus.

Bugs Finds Bigfoot 👣🪶
“The famous 1967 Bigfoot footage has been proven to be a hoax. Director of a new doc discovered the hoaxer’s ‘rehearsal’ outtakes of the same event.” Steven Greenstreet’s wording is not an accurate description of what the documentary Capturing Bigfoot claims. It explicitly calls the clip a 1966 “rehearsal/trial run” from a year earlier—not “outtakes of the same event.” If debunkers like SG can’t even get the director’s own framing straight, what does it say about how he approaches subjects like Bigfoot and UFOs? Does he do so with genuine objective curiosity, or does he look for cheap wins to confirm his a priori belief that “it’s all nonsense”? Real truth-seeking demands better. Many skeptics are jumping the gun and saying the new documentary Capturing Bigfoot “proves” the Patterson-Gimlin Film was a hoax. From a purely objective perspective, this phrasing goes too far, crossing from “strong new corroboration” into “definitive proof” without fully addressing the longstanding forensic/technical counterarguments. The documentary’s claim adds corroboration to the hoax side—premeditation (1966 practice), insider knowledge (Clint’s suit-burning account, Patricia’s implications), motive (cancer/financial desperation), and confessions—but it doesn’t resolve the core forensic anomalies Munns and Meldrum highlight, nor does it explain how a “similar” suit became Patty-level realism in 1967 on a shoestring budget. I’ve lost respect for debunkers like Steven Greenstreet because they seem more interested in confirming priors than engaging fairly with sources, as seen in compressing a 1966 rehearsal into ‘outtakes of the same event.’ Passion can lead to overstatement on any side and I want to be fair, but his reporting feels more tabloid than journalistic to me. I wonder whether he feels entitled to play loosely with the facts because he sees himself as crusading against nonsense. On the other hand, true skeptics like Michael Shermer measure their words more carefully and remain open to new data. Yet even for someone who says he values critical thinking and evidence-based investigations, he repeats SG’s comments without checking their accuracy. What’s worse is how he states something that hasn’t been established as fact, namely that “We’ve known the Patterson Bigfoot film was a fake for years“. I find it disappointing because I generally consider him to be honest; this isn’t Shermer at his best. This slight but meaningful inaccuracy—compressing a “1966 rehearsal/test” into “rehearsal outtakes of the same event”—suggests a rushed or selective summary rather than careful engagement with the source material. If someone is positioning themselves as a thorough debunker committed to evidence-based skepticism, you’d expect more precision on key details like timeline and terminology, especially when the doc’s entire argument hinges on the footage being from a prior year.
