@SandraEckersley So true, we are educating our kids to listen to the lyrics and think why are they singing those words. Especially rap and hip hop, what is life like for those that the song is about. @vickster545

Has anyone done a PhD on impact of song lyrics on child social awareness & development? I for one know that David Bowie & Blondie (& so many other musos) were my tutors as I carefully studied their words to learn what to expect & figure out how to navigate approaching adulthood.
