eBay fucking sucks. I sold a Cooper Flagg Refractor for $176.50 and it says delivered but the buyer claims he never got it. eBay just issued a full refund, but I also will not receive my card back. This is the biggest load of bullshit ever.

@BadgedPatriot Yes but a bit longer than every year. It depends how clean your water is. People where I live think it's clean, but the filter system I installed proves that they're wrong.

A plumber just told me you are supposed to drain your water heater once a year to get the junk at the bottom out to extend the life of the heater. Does anybody actually do that?😳

@LMIronwerks Why not coat the screws with RTV silicone, or rubberized undercoating? Anything to shield the bare metal. Install a grounding strap to the cabinet to dissipate the static. Do anything other than complaining.

This is my blasting cabinet. Hands down the worst thing in the shop. It's dirty. It's finicky. And you see those little screws around the glovie holes? When you blast, static electricity builds up and shoots 50 MILLION VOLTS DIRECTLY INTO YOUR NIPPLES IF YOU GET CLOSE ENOUGH. Guess who likes to hug the cabinet like he loves it. It doesn't love me back.

@Txp_RBI_Xctuxl Damn fine axles.... We got like 80k on the first set of pads, and rotors made it to ~135k Zero issues with the diff, and bearings were still fine at ~150k when we sold it (at least 40k towing a 6 ton toy hauler)

Because you bought a Super Duty with full floating axles and disc brakes. This isn't a Ford thing. It's a Dana axle thing.

This is crazy. I can't believe how much lint came out of the dryer vent. This is so dangerous. Make sure you clean your vents; they can cause a fire.

@yacineMTB The term engineer is thrown around pretty loosely these days. If only there was a way to meld common sense AND skillful knowledge into one person. Oh wait, really good troubleshooting mechanics have that capability. Must be why they get paid more than all types of engineers.

My bar for mechanical engineers is whether I think they could design and build a manual hand crank sewing machine if I put them in a basement with all the tools they needed for a month

While we shut down our government and go to war overseas, the American West is rapidly running out of water. Denver already has indefinite water restrictions in place. Wildfires are expected to ravage the nation throughout spring + summer. We need bipartisan action now.
