If a foreign national is living in England and unable to speak English, they should no longer be allowed to live in England - new rules must not only apply to those arriving, but those living here too. We’ve allowed huge numbers of foreigners to enter, settle, and access public services without being able to hold a basic conversation in English - cultural silos emerge, isolating themselves in parallel societies, and forcing others to carry the burden of translation. I don’t want my taxes going on Urdu translation in the NHS. Do you? It’s not our problem. Don’t speak English, go back to Pakistan. I’ve spoken about this at some length and my goodness do people get wound up. I couldn’t care less. It’s all true, and the vast majority of Brits agree with me. Official statistics suggest that 10 per cent of the country's residents who were born overseas, roughly 932,208 people, speak little to no English. Quite frankly, what are they doing here? How are they contributing? They’re not, is the honest answer. Hundreds of thousands of foreigners have lived in England for years and haven’t even bothered to learn our language. Goodbye.

This is so alarming...So this morning I’ve booked an Uber to go to an appointment with 7 month old daughter in her doona car seat. The driver didn’t say anything when I got in the taxi which was fairly rude but I didn’t think much of it.. we’re about 10/15 minutes into the 35 minute journey and he’s gone the opposite way to the way any other Uber would usually take me. Didn’t really think much of it until we’re were driving down a road that said road closed., so I’ve asked him what he’s doing why are we going down the road that closed. Can we go the other way please and next minute he’s screaming at me to get out of the uber. I’ve asked him to pull over so I can safely get me and my baby out of the uber and get another one and he’s repeatedly screaming at me to get out so I’ve tried to get my baby’s car seat to get her out and he’s pushed me towards the door and tried to hold the car seat so I couldn’t get my baby out! In the moment I’ve panicked trying really hard to get the seat belt off my daughters doona car seat and get her out whilst he’s trying to stop me so I’ve (grabbed or hit him) to move him away so I could get my baby. I’ve managed to get her out of the car in a split second but if I didn’t act so quick I don’t wanna think about what could have happened!! I’m just warning anyone out there who gets Ubers to please be careful. I’ve spoken to Uber they don’t care but i have informed the police and just waiting to be spoken to!! PLEASE SHARE !
