@Reddeeva You mean the one that kind of contradicts the concept of eternal family ? Did Joseph’s Jesus preach the concept of eternal marriage/sealing or was that some other revelation ?

The "wrong Jesus" argument fails because Jesus doesn't care about what or where we think He came from, only that we believe He is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, that we follow Him, and keep His commandments. 💜

@Reddeeva Matthew 22:40 is a verse I hold very close, but my point was against your claim that Jesus only cares we believe he is the Christ and there is no “wrong Jesus”. If it doesn’t matter why would he tell those who have done great works in his name to depart from him ?

@Reddeeva The serpent didnt tempt Eve with Shame and death. he tempted her with knowledge that led to shame and death. Adam and Eve were in the presence of God, direct relation. One deceptive misrepresentation and they were separated from God.

Satan, that old serpent, doesn't inspire anyone to choose to worship God, serve others, pay tithes, be baptized, do good, make or keep covenants with God. He inspires selfishness, greed, envy, lust, pride, laziness, anxiety and anger. 💜 x.com/i/status/19992…

@ThoughtfulSaint It’s written that God is a Jealous God. If Jesus is God clearly he suffered at the hands of man. You’re conflating two claims into believing one means the other cannot be true. Just because some part of the triune god feels does not mean he changes in his nature or authority.

Protestants literally were cheering as he committed heresy and rejected the creedal definition of God (impassability ) and embraced the LDS view (that God is passible) because it obviously is what the Bible teaches.

@jkdavis89 Tell that to the Pharisees…And if the book or Mormon isn’t a true testament of him, how do you think he would speak to those preached it ? Matthew 7:23 is terrifying, and it’s meant to be.

Do you know that Catholics actually use Greek Translation & Latin came after the 4 & 5th century & “Gospel” means “Good News” which the Book of Mormon is also: “Good News” The OT is actually 4 covenants: Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosiac & Davidic. Cope & Seethe.

Do Mormons know that the Latin (Catholic) word Testament on the Bible means Covenant? Old Testament = Moses Covenant New Testament = Jesus Covenant Mormon Testament = Cosplay Contradiction There's only one Covenant in Jesus Christ.

@SteveMc74806767 @j_divis No sir, sorry for my failed attempt at a sarcastic response. I agree with your statement and was trying to point out someone did tell Eve she would be like God. Or “as god” in the KJV. The original deception continues today. 😔

@nikiped1aV2 @marcado_razon Why would we baptise in “the name of” ? Does that even suggest they share one name ? You’re trying to simplify and grasp understanding of something we have 0 other point of direct reference too. Was Jesus misleading us when he said “if you have seen me you have seen the father ?

I know you disagree, but you are wrong because none of this nonsense you posted above is found anywhere in the scriptures and unfortunately, your feelings don’t matter. Christ is not a spirit, Luke 24: 36-43. He clearly has a body post-resurrection. This passage alone destroys the trinity (and only one of many, many found throughout the NT) You have nothing biblical to prove your points. It requires creeds and creeds are fake, made up teachings of man, written long after the Bible was completed. That is documented, historically accurate fact.

Does anyone else notice that LdS / Mormon Apologists aren't really debating facts and logic ? They are doing a Motte and Bailey game. They pretend to have facts at first, but when we expose their false ideas and contradictions, they retreat to personal feelings. It probably would save a lot of time to focus on their feelings, rather than being drawn into their fake arguments. The LdS religion seduces many of them into feelings of privilege, prosperity, pride, position, not to mention carnal polygamy. It's a matter of the heart. 🙏 Please pray for the conversion of Mormons. @Apologetics941 @PetGorilla @Lets_Talk_HC @HarknessRi64787 @RealMattFradd @ShamelessPopery

@JustintheN3rd Joseph certainly paid a price for his alleged prophetic claims. But you honestly don’t think he gained power and money ? Women 😬? His fruits have definitely produced power, money and comfort in his church. This isn’t a logical or rational argument for Joesph’s claims.

Haters say, ‘Joseph Smith was just a con man.’ Most con men chase money, power, and comfort. Joseph chased revelation, scripture, sacrifice—and got tarred, jailed, and murdered. If that’s a con, it’s the worst business model in history.

@JustintheN3rd No text can prove its reliability within itself. The only way we can have any belief in it is if evidences are witnessed outside it. I believe in the reliability of the gospel based on historical evidence. Worship Jesus however you want, but Joseph Smith is not reliable.

The Book of Mormon is the word of God! Hot take: If you’re gonna trash the Book of Mormon, at least have the intellectual honesty to read more than cherry-picked screenshots from ex-Mo Reddit hate threads. Start with 2 Nephi 4 and Alma 36, then come talk. Until then, your criticisms are just recycled salt from people who already decided it was fake before page 1. Believers: this book has changed millions of lives for the better, what’s been YOUR experience with this amazing book of scripture? Haters: put in the actual work or stay in the shallow end. What’s your favorite Book of Mormon chapter that wrecks you (in the best way)? Drop it below. 👇

When someone declares Latter-day Saints are not Christian, they are taking the Lord's name in vain. They are proclaiming judgment that is rightly the Lord's, and doing so without authority.

@jonathanplumb @tp_revere Sometimes we need to become a fool to become wise. I believe you’re right that it’s possible people born into false religions may have a chance to accept Christ and his kingdom. He also strongly warns us about how we know him and what the consequences may be.

If you can’t see the current operation to pit Latter-day Saints against Islam — You will become a casualty of war. We love Muslims. We love Catholics. We love Protestants. We love you all. We might not love your doctrines, but we love you, and want you to be able to live your life according to the desires of your heart, even if that means you cling to what we consider abominable teachings. Do not feed the trolls.

@Lets_Talk_HC There was again a division among the Jews because of these words John 10:19 With respect It’s a little wild you extrapolate Jesus talking to Jews about bringing all to the one true God and believe it supports the entire Joseph Smith story. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

@Hi_Xime20 @Mormonger The bible isn’t compatible with the BOM/PoGP/D&C though. For LDS scriptures to be true then the has Bible has been corrupted, or missing many parts as Joseph claimed.

I've heard some Latter-day Saints express disappointment when their Patriarch announces they are of the tribe of Ephraim: "Oh great, I'm one of the adopted kids in the tribe for leftovers." Apparently those Saints haven't read the scriptures. Ephraim-- the youngest son of Israel's youngest son-- received the birthright instead of Israel's oldest son. As the birthright son, Ephraim receives a greatest portion, the greatest authority, and the greatest responsibility. Ephraim is the special tribe chosen to save the rest of Israel by restoring them to the Gospel. If you're of Israel, you're part of the Lord's elite special ops unit. And that's cool!

Satan’s biggest lies: • Baptism isn’t needed for salvation • No more scripture is needed • Prophets and apostles are not needed • Families are not forever • God doesn’t have a body • God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are not three distinct beings • Apostasy never happened • Miracles and personal revelation have ceased; God no longer speaks to or works through mortals today • A little sin is no big deal, God will justify us in a few small transgressions and still save us in the end • “All is well in Zion” there’s no urgent need to repent, change, or prepare; everything is basically fine as it is • We did not exist as spirit children of Heavenly Parents before this mortal life • Temple ordinances, endowments, and celestial marriage are unnecessary or merely symbolic for the highest degree of glory • Exaltation is impossible, we cannot become like our Heavenly Father • There are no degrees of glory, after death it’s simply heaven for the saved or hell for the rest (or universalism erases consequences entirely) • It doesn’t matter which church you belong to, all paths lead to God, or the “invisible church” makes organized religion unnecessary

@benellsworth038 @RigdonNancy3 I think it’s biblically evident that prophets are rarely flawless men. So I agree in principle, but I’d question a prophet who heard the word of god, revealed it to others. But then spoke a contrary belief or went against god after revelation. How do you consider them a prophet ?

Nice try. Didn’t I just go through this whole thing where I detailed how prophets are not perfect? Their personal opinions are not the same as teachings from God as delivered by and confirmed as true by the spirit. But you know that, don’t you? And you continue to move the goal post.
