Stuff just keeps on getting older, very much including me. But I’m pleased to report that my heart surgery last month appears to have been a success. I don’t take anything for granted but I’m back at my desk completing the writing of my next book which I’m due to deliver to my publishers at end October. Meanwhile, life goes on! I enjoy meeting and interacting with those who find my work useful. Before the serious problems with my heart had been diagnosed I had made commitments to host three tours in 2027 – to Egypt in March 2027, to Turkey in May 2027 and to Peru and Bolivia in August 2027. Because I must be mindful of my health challenges, I will now be joining each tour for five days during which I will offer two exclusive multi-media presentations and make myself fully-available for Q&A sessions, for individual face-to-face conversations with guests, for signing books and for photographs. @Liza137823 Someone who don’t make monet their priority. Lives happy with very little. Thats my type of better than money. Life should be fun not about money. Personally i hate the stuff because its the highest form of addiction for some and the biggest advertisement for a broken society.

I think people misunderstand suicide. They think it’s always about wanting to die. And perhaps sometimes it is. But a lot of the time, it’s something much deeper to explain. Sometimes it’s not that a person wants their life to end. It’s that they’re exhausted. Exhausted from hurting. Exhausted from carrying things nobody else can see. Exhausted from thinking about the same problems every day and never finding a solution. Exhausted from hoping. Exhausted from being disappointed. Exhausted from losing people. Exhausted from trying to hold themselves together while life keeps asking for more. People imagine someone wakes up one day and suddenly decides they don’t want to be here. Most of the time, it doesn’t happen like that. Most of the time: Years of grief. Years of loneliness. Years of rejection. Years of feeling unseen. Years of carrying pain that never fully leaves. A person can only carry so much before they start asking questions they never wanted to ask. And definitely not because they hate life. Because they’re no longer sure how to survive the weight of it. The hardest part is that from the outside, people often see the reaction. They see someone break. They see someone withdraw. They see someone fall apart. What they don’t see are the thousands of moments that came before it. The betrayals. The disappointments. The heartbreaks. The nights spent staring at the ceiling. The battles fought completely alone. The endless replaying of memories. The constant wondering why they weren’t enough. People think suicide is about wanting death, but I think if more often about wanting relief. Relief from the pain. Relief from the fear. Relief from the loneliness. Relief from the thoughts that never stop. Relief from carrying a burden that feels heavier every year. That doesn’t mean death is the answer. It means the suffering became bigger than the person’s ability to carry it alone. And I think that’s an important difference. Because if we misunderstand the pain, we’ll never understand the person.

Childhood humiliation rituals cause a child to freeze and break off. Humiliation, particularly when it targets a person’s sense of self, can be particularly powerful. A child repeatedly shamed, mocked, invalidated, or punished for expressing emotions might learn that freezing in invisibility is safer. There’s a deep disconnect from what you actually feel with a deep need to hide it and pretend something else.

I have ADHD. I accidentally wore my headphones for an hour without playing any music. I just enjoyed the muffling of the world.

@its_Lynx1 All addiction is the same … and btw alcohol us a drug. Addictions are created through voids created in someone’s capacity for which manifests from sadness / hurt if you ask me or a mental health struggle. True addiction is very unpretty. Porn, drugs, spending or others ❤️‍🩹

@dekunlz Create peace. Train at the gym. Put picture around you of things that make you happy. Get a dog. Cry and be ok with that to let it out. Don’t rush its your depression no one else’s. Try and eat good food when you can. Stay in bed. Be around your children if have any ❤️‍🩹
