.@zarahsultana I assume this is a different Zarah Sultana MP to the one who was recently filmed clapping along to loudspeaker chants for intifada, on a street in Surrey. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

Horrendous attack in Golders Green. Thinking of the victims, their families and everyone who will once again be shaken by this attack. Thank you to all of those involved with the emergency response.

Absolutely horrific. Solidarity with the victims and their families.

🚨 Abhorrent, vile and unprovoked antisemitic assault ⚠️ Video attached, contains offensive language 🚨 A visibly Orthodox Jewish man was minding his own business whilst at work, when he was subjected to this shocking, unprovoked attack. The suspect shouted disgusting antisemitic abuse, including ”dirty mother f***ing Jew” during the assault. 🚔 @ThamesVP @MetPoliceUK 🔢 Crime Reference: 43260192511 📅 Monday 20/04/26 🕓 4:20pm 📍 Elliman Avenue, Slough, SL2 5AZ 📢 Any witnesses, or anyone with further information, are urged to come forward and contact police quoting the above crime reference.

This afternoon I met with Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, and shared with her the depth of concern and anxiety felt across the Jewish community in the wake of the campaign of violent attacks against Jewish sites. I was reassured by her personal commitment to the safety of the Jewish community and to strengthening the law to that end, as well as her recognition of the need to address the root causes of anti-Jewish hatred.

I asked @ZackPolanski yesterday what is the Green Party's response to the recent wave of attacks against Jewish sites in the UK. His response: “I'm concerned about rising antisemitic attacks. We saw arson attacks on ambulances for instance and we know that increasingly jewish communities are feeling unsafe. There’s a conversation to be had about whether it’s a perception of unsafety or whether it’s actual unsafety, but neither are acceptable”.
