It’s complete chaos today. We drove to Burlington, VT to pick up a rental car but even though we had reserved one they had no cars available (until Sunday). My travel buddy now continues driving to Montreal to drop off our Canadian rental car and I’m staying here to try get a car from one of the other rental companies in the city tomorrow who were already closed now.

Austin Robertson (32) fought the officers then reached into his vehicle and pulled out an AR15 pistol (no brace of course...) and shot Deputy Alex Albrech with it. Spell was hit with multiple misdemeanor summonses in 2020 during the COVID lockdowns when he refused to close his church. "The Central City police are friends with these folks across the street. I have not been in the best head space lately Last week my “boss” pushed me over the edge & I decided to leave, refusing to comply with his nonsense 1. They cut my pay by making me the ONLY tech in the shop not allowed to take his truck home (huge pay cut) their excuse was its “company policy” that apparently only applies to me alone (after I returned from breaking my hand… it was suddenly a new policy) 2. Wrote me up for not wearing sleeves (I haven’t worn sleeves in many years, they don’t pay for uniforms for me, & I’m 1 of 3 at least that don’t wear sleeves) again… only applies to me 3. Wrote me up for showing up an hour late after working 16 hours the day before to clean up an account another tech got kicked out of …. (Im not the only one who’s showed up late… but the only one who’s been punished for it) 4. Changed my schedule without consent to Tuesday through Saturday. Told him I couldn’t work weekends, didn’t matter… even wrote me up for not showing up on a Saturday that I told him I couldn’t work. Last Monday he “sent me home” after a month of telling him I couldn’t work weekends he decided to cut my hours & declare I only get to work Tuesday through Friday With missing all my podcast times, staying late, and being an 8 year vet of this company & 16 years changing tires, they decided I need to be fucked with & must bend the knee to ridiculous demands I’ve been out of work for over a week now, found some decent opportunities but am completely baffled why power hungry betas just want to make their employees comply because “they can” Fuck that. They can’t. I no longer care if they succeed or not because of the insanely unreasonable nonsense they decided to put one of their top guys through. I’d rather lose everything than bend the knee to a beta wanna be tyrant that demand obedience above family or reason. Especially when they want me to work by a separate set of rules than everyone else just because he says so Some of you said my work had it out for me, you were right. Sad day. I liked my job. 🚨HOLY CRAP!!!! A mob of nearly 200 "teens" BROKE CURFEW, FLOODED downtown Detroit, disrupted a family friendly fireworks show, and then starting BEATING EACH OTHER AND POLICE IN THE STREETS. Police brought in HORSES to contain the "teens" and MULTIPLE teens had weapons on them and one teen was sh0t by police!!! In one video, a Black mother appears to hold her NEWBORN BABY out of the car window at the mob of people!!! The teen takeovers have gotten so bad that police had INTELLIGENCE the mobs were planning to "come over and shut the fireworks down." So the city expanded the curfew: no unaccompanied kids under 18 downtown after 8 p.m. Break it, and BOTH the teen AND the parent get ticketed. 180 "teens" violated it anyway!!!!! It is now the SECOND year in a row that gunfire broke out downtown before these fireworks. WHERE ARE ALL THE PARENTS?!!!!
