I’ve never had an interest in working in politics or for politicians, but I jumped at the opportunity to work for Moira Deeming. It's now coming up on two years and I can safely say she is one of - if not the most - principled people I’ve ever met, driven by her convictions and the causes that matter to her. Which are in fact not radical, but grounded in common sense. It is undeniable that Moira is a fighter who puts everything on the line - not because it is politically advantageous, but because it is the right thing to do. She represents exactly what is sorely missing in Australian politics. The Victorian Liberals dropping her for preselection is not only a loss for them, but a loss for Victoria.
