@Jolanda04 @605tokenpodcast @AmericanMama Wow! Not read everything yet but I sure will. I've some last exams tomorrow so I head to bed now but will read this later tomorrow or Friday as this deserves more time than a quick read, you deserve more time. I keep this post open in a tab for it.

Yelling presents as aggressive is what they want, so that they can then target the parents that they don't like and they can then ban them from any future meetings. 🔗x.com/Jolanda04/stat… Look what they did to me in Australia, I didn't get aggressive, so they had to make it up. If you give them a reason they will just blacklist you if you don't they make up reasons

This is absolutely insane! How the hell did we even get to this point? A grandmother was thrown out of a public meeting because she read lines from a book that are in school libraries. The words were too graphic for adults, but perfectly OK for kids? Wtf

So I can better unfollow you? Your politics influence ours but we shouldn't have an opinion about it? Even my American friends say it: Americans don't know anything about anything beyond their borders, have no interest unless they can bomb it or take advantage of it but influence their politics but shut up please, know your place! For once there is now something positive coming to us, crumbling down of the card house but: shut up, we handle it, here an ice cream. In Europe you grow up with the idea you're a plain idiot if you don't know about American politics as what happens there, does not only influence us but is usually what will come to us. But okay, if you wish so, I'll say goodbye. Pity, you post interesting things, I've lived in the USA, have family and friends there but I know my place. Woof!

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

Happy I'm not a political journalist about international affairs.... It explains a lot as my experience is that Americans are usually kind but know zero about anything across their border, we often joke about that to be honest. If someone does not know something big happened at their neighbours place, we say "don't be American". Sorry but that is how it is and I totally get it lately, I always denied it and said: but they are kind, I've lived there, have friends and family but apparently that doesn't count, not allowed to be interested in them. Meanwhile your politics influence us big time but don't "you" dare to have an opinion about it.

In my home region, hardly anyone has internet and less are interested in my niche work. This account is to get in contact with people from all over the globe and learn about their politics and insights about politics. Things like American politics, Covid and Epstein have a huge and direct influence on European countries.

Well, than you get one, maybe I'm an American expat, could be. I'm so happy I did not count too much on X for starting a business as what would a cow and 3 80 year old farmers want with what I have to offer? Nothing. Typical American, look in their own pocket and the rest of the world does not exist, they want to rule it but please, shut up while we influence your politics, cause war on your continent.... I'm happy I know not all Americans are like that, I lived there long enough to be care about it but apparently there are folks like you who don't even thank for the contribution but kick you when you leave. It confirms a prejudice many many Europeans have, sad actually. But when implemented and I get to see bs I don't want to see, I really leave, did it before, do it again. I study now abroad, am I interested in things here? nope, not really as why would I want to interact in such a way when i leave after graduation? I interact with locals, try not to get attached to them, there's no future here so what should I do? My home country is literally 6 people with internet, including me, they only use it for their business as we are remote: taxes. No Social Media, no online buying, nothing. My product is not in their interest, I work in a niche. I love languages and English is the most difficult one, when i don't use it for a month, my brain deletes it full enthusiasm, unlike French, that is way easier, even Chinese is easier to learn. I want to read those languages, I want to be in contact with people from all over the world. I see enough of my village, I'm not shallow minded. I study with people from China, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Canada, Mexico, Vietnam: love it! Sorry I'm social and am interested in politics that influence my life.

When I want my local town square, I walk to my local town square as I do regularly. When I'm full about my specialisation which is not local, I want to be able to post about that. I keep my political views far from that and want to keep my identity and location far from that as well for safety reasons.

Ah, nice so I can try to build up an audience in an area where 1 in 100 people has internet, 6 people including me. And no, I'm not going to share ANYTHING about local life there as maybe some people like to expose themselves, I don't want the whole world to know where I exactly live, sorry - not sorry. With my business account people can know but I sure don't share anything about my private life with them but my kind of business is international and has no future when it depends on local. None of the countries I deal with speaks my mother language (thank God! so happy I hardly ever have to use that), I like to read in several languages as I maintain them that way and learn them that way as well. I've friends and family all over and am interested in bigger things. Locally??? I'm the one telling them, translating as most are like Americans and don't speak any language apart from their own (in dialect only), about Covid, the things Malone says, the Epstein Files, that is the worlds business! I want to hear about that and it is the only reason I stayed despite the other insane new feature that makes me feel very unsafe here: location, including history. Years I've been on the run and now I could be found easily. It would be the final drop that spills the bucket, that is all I can say. I want to be able to feel safe online, decide what I see from where and build on an international business, my studies are international and interdisciplinary, I want the languages I want, not the language my neighbours speak. I love X and all the related companies for their mission, it resonates very much with me, I will keep supporting that although i wouldn't know how to bring the information to the locals when I don't get the information myself, but I will not continue to be on X. If I want local news, I talk with my neighbour when the always drunk idiot is not near. Please! I'm more than the remote mountain I live on.

Yikes!!! So when you are an American citizen living in Europe or any expat from wherever, you are stuck with post from the region where you are at that moment? Dear @nikitabier , not everyone lives in a region where they feel connected to, not everyone wants to see the same cow everyday (to be honest: I hate the country where I origin from and had I still lived there, you had not made me happy, many there are jealous I could leave and would love to leave). I study abroad now and seriously: I don't care much about what happens here, in 1,2 years I'm studying somewhere else. American politics determine those of many other countries. Please don't confirm what many in my country (and no, that is not what my profile states it is as in my country I hardly ever use internet) think of Americans (sorry guys, no intend to insult): shallow minded, they don't know any country outside of there border unless they can drop some bombs there or get some oil, they think all others are the same, speak only that one language PLUS of course the holy language English.... I already considered seriously to leave X after the privacy sensitive information about location as that really makes me and others with violent family members or an ex or whatever vulnerable, since I feel less safe here but block everyone who is very focused on it. If I notice I get to much local bs I'm not interested in, in languages I don't need to read, I'm gone. I hardly use internet, intend to use less computers soon after graduation so it will not be a huge step. I stayed for one reason, he will forgive me for sure. I want to decide what I see and that is not the same cow, I want to see zebras, lions, jellyfish, I'm on X to see the world, otherwise I can go to the pub and hear about the cow I see every day. Hope this analogy makes it clear. Pity I've a personal reason to not delete the account as I've done before and came back as Elon bought it. This is really bad bad news. I've a backbone, just saying, but I wait, let's hope I get to see posts like @TheFlowerShow posts.

For those who don’t know X will more or less show your posts just to people in the same region/ country. This will be effective from sometime next week. Something with WEF...... democracy is an illusion for quite a while. People of a country, form the businesses as well and businesses are as dumb and/or only for profit, they don't care. It is all a choice and both are to blame to me but we clearly think different, interesting and I will sure think about it but also realise we will not convince each other and that is also not why I'm here. I like to share my thoughts, read other opinions and learn, sometimes change my mind, sometimes not. It is sure not worth a fight what some do, we fight, they divide and rule, something like that. Together we are stronger, companies AND customers, if votes matter or not. I'm passed the latter, I've seen too much for that but can be wrong.

@BeeeeNature @BigBrotherWatch People should take this up with their government, not bark at Apple for doing what the government they elected to do actually did. Elections have consequences; votes matter. A business shouldn’t have to take a massive financial hit because the people in that country are dumb

🚨NEWS: UK iPhone users must now prove their age or lose full internet access "It is absolutely outrageous that, overnight, Apple has put a chokehold on Britons' freedom to search the internet, access information and use apps unless they provide sensitive ID documents. This means 35 million Brits who have paid hundreds or even thousands of pounds for Apple tech suddenly now have a child's device unless they comply with invasive demands for personal information that go far beyond what UK law requires. Apple has crossed the Rubicon with this software update which is more like ransomware, holding customers hostage to ID demands that are invasive, exclusionary and unnecessary. Children's online safety is vital but requires better parental controls and thoughtful tech responsibility - not sweeping, draconian, shock demands by foreign companies for all of our IDs and credit cards." - Silkie Carlo [@silkiecarlo]

I totally get that can't be changed overnight and I also get we don't all make the same choices so it is sure no judgement. I'm just happy I never went on with it, I once had a mobile phone but found it very annoying people just called whenever instead of the landline, I had it for my job. They also gave my number to others and I thought: this is going to be worse in the future. Maybe because I've been active in politics behind de scenes and have seen a lot, one of my parents worked as a lawyer for government and I knew they loved control! The banking came and I thought: this will make local banks are closing. I ditched it and I only got some annoyed people, that was it. We moved somewhere remote and there was a total different culture, not even mobile reach and we stopped such tower from being placed in our village. Everything is cash there. I came back to the UK for studies after being away for about 5 years and was stunned, my local bank left soon after and I went to Wise, they also work with a desktop. I still would prefer a local bank but there is none near. In the other country we have them and they are very much alive and welcoming, so after my studies, I leave, not sure yet if I want to stay in two countries like I've done for years. Once someone told me: but if there's something with your card, you can't pay when you don't have enough cash, that will never happen to me, I pay with my phone. My answer was: until your battery runs low, it falls in the toilet or on the street or gets stolen... I lose only my card, you your contacts, "card", and whatever you have on it. Again, no judgements here! I hope it shows how vulnerable we are as soon as we do everything with one device.

@BeeeeNature @BigBrotherWatch That’s going forward. Some of us have got used to our banking app, for example. I need to access my details, or make transfers. Local banks are closing - there’s not always one nearby. Can’t change that overnight. They should give notice I agree - I use cash as much as possible

Apple can also say: bye! Everyone throughout history is always hiding behind someone else. It is the companies that want it so don't blame them. I did just my job, don't blame me. It is just the law! It is what you voted for, we just do what we think is best for you as your politician (but a puppet of non democratic powers or a fraud or whatever). I have to, otherwise I lose my job/can't go to school. All true until all say: stop. They can fine one company, make it go bankrupted, ban it; they can't do it with all and companies have a lot of power, sure when they stand up together. If all Apple users say: no! It is stronger than whatever law, if there already truly is one that justifies this kind of thing. If Apple says no, it is already no, sure if others join. If everybody would stop using their mobile phones for ONE day, government is back in its cage the day after. One day no internet? same. A massive strike: no online orders, no online reading, no Social Media....See what happens! Even when you keep (air/train etc) traffic control, just users like you and me (although I've no phone).

You have an option, I live without a mobile phone and can do everything. I'm banking, I'm online if I want, I buy train tickets, have an Oystercard (not registered), do most things cash (and sure don't go to cashless shops/restaurants) and am still very much alive, happy and healthy.

@BigBrotherWatch But do we have any option? If we don’t give id when prompted will we be locked out of our own phones? Then we’ll lose access to banking. Is this the first step of digital id? Is it even legal? How can we avoid giving our details? #NoToDigitalID

So, no longer Kickstarter in that case, sorry for those who are on there and I will also not go there any more. I don't support anything that censors, left Facebook, banned Google wherever possible (and their products like Youtube), don't support so done with this! I did the same with @gofundme after their attitude towards the Truckers a few years ago. I don't care if I agree with something or not, it is about censorship, we are not talking about criminal behaviour. I wonder what their response would be if I would block a book about a gay wedding on my website or don't do business with them, the world would be to small! and rightfully btw. Bye @Kickstarter 👋

700 kcal is gemiddeld.
