@London_W4 When using my phone to navigate, I find a shop front, stand with my back to the pavement. Get directions, phone back in pocket, then resume the walk.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT IN PUBLIC IN CENTRAL LONDON! Was stood waiting to cross the road at corner Marble Arch and Oxford Street just now and turned to see bloke on very fast electric bike heading up behind me. I turned and he turned away. I stood and watched as it was obvious what was going to happen next and sure enough, he snatched the phone of a young woman stood at the bus stop. Then off down Oxford Street for more. Face fully covered. If we had a police force in London this could easily be stopped, but instead, dozens of people a day have their lives made shit by these vermin. I’m in a shop writing this. Put your phone away on the streets. Take care. Be safe.

Very impressed with Seb Morgan this week! Looks a brilliant quick bowler, taking the new ball with TRJ is not easy but he did it admirably, and someone who can make a real impact with bat in hand too. Between Morgan, Sharma & Falconer, Middlesex have 3 excellent young talents!

Once, everyone knew where Middlesex was. Today, many are told it “no longer exists”. It does. The question is - why are we pretending it doesn’t?

A brilliant day with brilliant company. Yes, it was momentarily wet and, yes, it took a while for the first boundary to come, but there was a proper ebb and flow and it was pretty much even stevens cricket between Middlesex and Gloucestershire all day. It’s very good to be back!
