Watching United properly. Tactics, stats, and takes that make sense. Not a cheerleader, not a hater - just honest ⚽

Looking back at those other dropped points makes it even clearer that we’ve basically been our own worst enemy this season. We have dropped 14 points from winning positions in total but these 11 points dropped stings the most!! 1. Bournemouth (H) | 4-4 Draw : Led THREE times. Cunha 79' makes it 4-3. They equalise 84'. Bournemouth hadn't won in seven games before this. 25 shots, 56% possession. Dropped 2pts from winning positions ------ 2. Nottingham Forest (A) | 2-2 Draw: Casemiro 34' → 1-0 lead. They flip it to 2-1. Amad 81' rescues it. 59% possession, 18 shots. Dropped 2pts from winning position ------ 3. Tottenham (A) | 2-2 Draw: Mbeumo 32' → lead. Spurs nick it late… De Ligt 96' equaliser in chaos. From winning position again. Dropped 2pts ------ 4. Burnley (A) | 2-2 Draw: Sesko two goals in 10 mins (50', 60') → total control at 2-1. They equalise 66'. Against the bottom of the league. Criminal! 65% possession, 30 shots Dropped 2pts from winning position + total domination ------ 5. Everton (H) 0-1 Loss: Them down to 10 men in 13 mins. We have 70% possession, 25 shots. Zero urgency, run into a blue wall, Dewsbury-Hall worldie. Threw away 3pts when the game was handed to us ------ Had we won this, we'd have been on 56 points with a game in hand over Arsenal who are on 58! So close, yet so far!

@UtdTony1 Well by that sense, Man City has been lucky since the last decade as other teams have been inconsistent and SAF had retired.

🚨 Jamie Carragher: “Manchester United were lucky this season. If we're being honest, their style of play hasn’t been convincing enough.” “The only reason they made the top four is because clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham were inconsistent for long periods.” “People keep saying Bruno Fernandes is the best player, but football is about winning the biggest trophies. Getting 20 assists is good, but that alone doesn’t make you the best when others are fighting for the Premier League title and Champions League.” “Football fans need to stop being sentimental and start being realistic, so the next generation can understand what true greatness really means.”

@UtdKobi A Championship side knocked them out of the FA Cup. City flipped the title race. And they're celebrating beating Newcastle like they've won something. Arsenal fans are built different lol 😂

@AliceTalksFooty Refereeing has been all over the place league-wide this season. We’ve had our fair share of dodgy calls too. Needs sorting before next season.

🚨🎙️ Jose Mourinho on Liam Rosenior Suspending Enzo Fernandes : “You say Madrid is beautiful. Of course it is beautiful. Paris is beautiful. London is beautiful. But beauty does not win you titles. Mentality wins you titles.” “When I was at Chelsea, my players did not speak about other clubs. Why? Because they were too busy winning.” “You want Real Madrid? Real Madrid is not a holiday destination. It is pressure. It is history. It is responsibility.” “At Madrid, if you play one bad match, the fans whistle. Two bad matches, the media kills you. Three bad matches… you are finished.” “And now you are talking about them while your team is suffering? This is not leadership. This is distraction.” “You don’t flirt with another club when your house is on fire. First, you put out the fire.” “Also… let me teach you something. Real Madrid does not buy players because they say nice things in interviews. They buy players who dominate big games.” “So… less talking about Madrid. More playing like a Madrid player.” “Because right now? You are not there.”

Julian Nagelsmann having a “man management problem” is one of the craziest narratives in football right now. Let’s be serious for a second. One dressing room conflict does not define a manager’s entire career. When José Mourinho fell out with Paul Pogba, did that suddenly become his legacy? No. It was an incident, not an identity. Top managers clash with players all the time. It happens at the highest level and then it passes. Now add context. Nagelsmann became a manager at 28. Twenty-eight. That’s younger than some of the players he was managing. So yes at Bayern, a 35-year-old coach managing senior figures like Neuer, and players like Sané who are close to his age, was always going to face pushback at some point. That’s not weakness. That’s football dynamics. And once senior players test boundaries, it can ripple through the squad. Again not unique, not unusual. But here’s what matters: It happened at Bayern. Not at RB Leipzig. Not at Hoffenheim. Not with the German national team. That tells you everything. This isn’t a pattern. It’s a moment. Now let’s talk about what actually defines Nagelsmann: A tactician who can shift from 4-3-3 to 3-4-3 to 4-4-2 without blinking. A manager who reads games in real time and adapts mid-match. A modern coach built for modern football. So the question isn’t whether he can manage players. The real question is: Are Manchester United ready for a manager that advanced? Because make no mistake Nagelsmann isn’t the risk. He’s the upgrade.

Nagelsman is a brilliant tactician plays very exciting football but has that reputation for struggling with man management.he cant manage Manchester United job.

🚨🗣️ Rio Ferdinand: “If United go and get FOUR players in the next window and two of those are starters, then I think that’s a realistic transfer window. “If I was the club, my priorities would be TWO central midfielders, one who starts and maybe a younger one who you can blood in here and there around Bruno, Kobbie [Mainoo] and the one you bring in. “I would also go for another forward, a younger one who is going to be more of a back-up to what we’ve already got. And I would go for a full-back. “That’s it. I know you can say you want 10 new players and most positions can be improved but I don’t think you need a huge revamp, it’s still a lot but that’s realistic.” #MUFC [@RioMeets, @MailSport]

@FrankEra_ Here's what he said... there's nothing negative about it - I don't think he's ever going to be the perfect striker but if he can be a handful, contribute with goals, hold things up, link play... that will be ENOUGH because you don't always have to be perfect.

@AliceTalksFooty Arsenal wants to control the game with the clock! It’s "dark arts" until it stops working and right now the only thing it's doing is boring the league to tears.

@SkySportsNews This is exactly why Rooney said we’d batter them. Our 2008 side would have put 5 past this Wolves team and been back in the dressing room by the 70th minute. Arsenal have the "flair" but zero killer instinct.

@FPLfrasier You’re spot on about the risk. For the money Newcastle would want (rumoured €100m/£87m), you’re paying for "potential" that hasn't fully stayed consistent. His PL production has actually dipped this season compared to his 23/24 peak.

Liverpool fan, who went to Everton academy and hates them. Performances have been poor for a long time if I am being honest. Price will be too high. Gordon has that superstar attitude without the skills and performances to back it up. Risky transfer for me.

@utdHarryy This is exactly why I’m glad we didn't get dragged into the Gyokeres hype. People wanted us to spend £80m on a guy whose first touch is a 50/50 challenge. Delap is just a track star with a mean streak.
