At what point are we going to start rigorously testing our educator's psychological health BEFORE putting them in a classroom with our children for 8 hours a day?
The people who teach our children shape them and hold them in ways parents cannot, through daily exposure, yet we send our children into the lions den with people like THIS ⬇️ every day.

@habeebAtDXB @TheSaviour The reality is, she recognized she was wrong because she took water from other bucket & dumped it on him while he was jumping in pain. Kids regularly annoy people in the street. You can admit in this case she was wrong. I know many Indians who wouldn't have reacted like this.

I think it takes a great deal of courage to publicly acknowledge one’s mistakes, and that is certainly commendable. At the same time, an apology should be proportionate to the gravity of the mistake itself.
This apology makes no mention of Shias specifically and remains quite generic, despite the fact that Shias were accused of believing in the textual corruption of the Qur’an, the mass apostasy of the companions, and other serious claims.
The video never clarified what the alleged misinformation regarding Shia Islam actually was.
For that reason, Shias are fully justified in continuing to address and correct the misinformation that was spread by @yaqeeninstitute . Especially considering the video remained publicly available on YouTube for an entire month.

In war, the difference is everything.
Iranians stay because Iran is home.
Expats in Dubai and Doha pack a bag and fly out the moment things get serious.
The Gulf doesn't just lose people.
It loses the entire workforce that runs the country.
That's why a war with Iran is existential for the Gulf states in a way it never could be for Iran.
The Gulf can lose the war by simply losing its population.
Iran can't.
Now you understand at least part of why Saudi Arabia refused to lend its airbase to Project Freedom...

This happened to me with me and my ex-wife’s miscarriage.
Looking back it’s a positive that I’m not tied to her for 13 more years, but still. Everyone asked me how she was, how she was doing. She was fine. Realized she wasn’t ready for another yet and handled it easily. I was a wreck, and I had to hide it.
