@JonBall @EalingStudios This will bring in jobs and visitors to the Borough. From a sustainability point of view, it would be interesting to know whether across its new lifespan, redevelopment or new build is for carbon efficient. I would imagine the latter in this case.

@JonBall @EalingStudios While it is sad to lose some of the original buildings, these won’t now be fit for purpose for film/TV today. Studio space is globally in very short supply, as content budgets have exploded. This will mean that Ealing can continue to be the home to brilliant new content.

Demolition of some non-listed buildings at @EalingStudios and replacement by four new buildings up to 6 storeys in height to provide studio space for film, TV and entertainment productions, offices and workshops unanimously APPROVED.
