Nancy Guthrie It is so interesting that after Savannah went public with an interview, that even more people are convinced the Guthrie family is involved in Nancy's abduction. Many of these people I respect but absolutely do not understand their POV. Riddle me this all who are indicting Guthrie family members over Nancy's likely demise: *Why not just kill Nancy tampering with her medication or giving her a slight nudge down a flight of stairs or smothering her as she slept. If the Guthries really wanted to kill Nancy, why stage an elaborate crime like a kidnapping in the middle of the night? *What is the motive? Nothing to inherit really. Once divided out after a sale, maybe $150 - $200,000 each for the house. Likely no life insurance. Likely no significant savings. Savannah had all the money. If money was the motive, Savannah and her family should have been the target for a kidnapping. If it was hatred of Nancy, where is any information related to this premise? There is none. **This is the problem. It's an outlier case like the Idaho 4 and people are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. The people who did this are twisted. The ransom notes are twisted. Everything done was to make this family suffer. There is 0 evidence to indicate that any Guthrie had a hand in this horrific crime. P.S. No one in the Guthrie family has any sort of record for violence, in fact they are lawyers, pilots, teachers, businessmen. Outlier cases are nightmares for LE and fodder for conspiracy theorists. Nancy Guthrie-Update Investigative epiphanies: 1) Nancy was taken in her pajamas with No shoes. This details the ruthlessness and swiftness of the abduction. They could have cared less about her welfare. Her medicine was left behind. 2) Two of the ransom notes are Real. Back to Occam's Razor, absolutely a kidnap for ransom and then they aborted because there was no proof of life. 3) "Ripped" off that door camera - back to the lack of sophistication by porch guy but that doesn't mean that even with his holster issues/vine pulling unpreparedness/slobbering over a bite light that he wasn't good enough to get away with this 4) LE has no pointer on a suspect(s). Lots of leads that have led to nowhere. As Savannah said: "We need Answers." 5) Door propped open: likely the perpetrator's doing, not Nancy's. Finally, from a daughter who has lost her mother, Savannah's interview was absolutely heartbreaking to watch. Not only is Savannah in pain over the loss, she blames herself for the abduction... I've been saying she may have wandered off on her own at night. Maybe she had an undiagnosed UTI and went septic. Got disoriented and confused and walked into the desert. Happened to my 92 yo grandmother. Got up at 3am and walked a mile away from her apartment with no shoes no jacket. Thankfully someone saw her. She passed away a few days later. It happens.
