Had David Scott, who was 80 and clearly could not do the job anymore, not died in office and Frederica Wilson, who consistently missed votes and is 83, came to vote yesterday, the War Powers Act resolution on Iran would have passed.

Unironically, adding a walkable coffee shop and a pub to a suburban neighborhood would make them 10x more enjoyable and dynamic. Imagine the run-ins you’d have every morning on your walk for coffee, or spontaneous games you watch with the dads at the pub. Sounds kinda awesome.

@BelleAndBanjo Listen...if you are capable and on it ....I got no problem. I have a client who actually represented herself quite well while she was a pro se. But most ppl don't have the patience to be good at it (like most lawyers).

@metroadlib Oh god. You would have hated my mother-in-law. She pro se’d her way through divorce-related shit from the time my husband was 2 until our daughter was 9. It’s a lifestyle choice.

Trump is suing the IRS, which he oversees, for $10 billion.
Both sides want to settle to avoid going to court.
Aside from money, one of the settlement terms is to drop all audits of himself and his family.
He’s stealing $10B from taxpayers and covering up his tax crimes.
