@BenCKinney No, but I wish I had. Do you remember any specific lines from the story? You might try Googling those. If the author never got published in a magazine, they may have just stuck it on their blog. That's what I do with all of my unpublishable stories.

I'm pretty sure it never got published because that should be HELLA googleable. Anyways, please RT this, in the hope that this thread might reach the eyes of whoever wrote that absolutely delightful story.

It was a SF story about snail aliens in medieval England! They were attacked by knights (like those manuscript marginalia)! The snails took over the kingdom and church! It ends with the POV monk admitting his love for his brother while being digested by the Archbishop Snail!

@ArulaRatnakar I think you can have one-to-many? Only one long axon but its end branches into many terminals. Which can connect to multiple postsynaptic cells if they're close.
