This is my basement which measures about 10 feet by 10 feet and just over 6 feet high. GUESS how many single plug sockets are in this one tiny room.

@HellaTamaryn I have had to replace 3 pool pumps this year. When the power comes back on after load shedding it sends a surge through that blew the electrics

For an article I’m writing: what (bad stuff) has load shedding done to your home appliances?
Eg: we’ve had to replace the batteries on our alarm system and gate cause they’ve been damaged from not having enough time between load shedding slots to charge properly.

Saw notorious racist SA Twitter troll comment on a Rings of Power trailer that it was “woke nonsense” Casting non white people makes a show woke? No, it makes it real. The shows I’ve enjoyed the most recently - eg Sandman - made them greater BECAUSE of the diverse casting.
