@isaac_saas @Sean360WA I’m just starting a Reta cycle and my whoop is setting off alarms for RHR and HRV. Did you just push through it? I really want to see the cycle through but, like you said before, HRV and RHR are pretty important to me.

@Sean360WA I did them separately. I did Reta first for 4-5 months. It spiked RHR and dropped HRV. I stopped Reta and started T when I started gaining weight again. Been on it 5 months and RHR stayed high and HRV stayed low.

It’s taken 6 months of no Reta and 3 weeks of no T (having another kid) to get my RHR back under 60, HRV back over 100, and systolic BP under 130 (BP increased with T, not Reta) Before I started both, RHR was high 40s/low 50s and HRV was regularly 150+ Everyone reacts differently but these three metrics are more important to me than body weight, BF% or any PR.

@tywoosley23 @alexaaronlab I’m a big bio hacker and really in tune with my body. I track everything. I started Reta 4 nights ago. HRV tanked and RHR very elevated. Nothing else in my routine changed. Good sleep, good hydration, supplementing electrolytes, the whole nine. It IS a factor.

@alexaaronlab I coach for a living. I’ve seen resting hr go up and HRV go down with ZERO other changes besides adding Reta on ALOT of people.

For those of you who say Reta raises RHR and HRV: Retatrutide doesn’t automatically wreck your RHR or HRV — context matters. Why some people see RHR ↑ • aggressive calorie deficits • dehydration/electrolyte drops • poor sleep & recovery • too much caffeine/stim load Why others (me included) see RHR ↓ + HRV ↑ • better insulin sensitivity • lower inflammation • more stable glucose • improved body comp → lower stress on the system Reta isn’t the problem — bad recovery is. Run it with hydration, electrolytes, sane deficits, and Zone 2 and your autonomics usually improve, not worsen. @ThePepGuy I just started the reta 1.2mg starting dose. I'm experiencing the RHR increase and my HRV is lower so im not getting great recovery during sleep. Not the best side effect in my opinion.. Did it ever subside for you? Some people say you adapt to it...

My Reta experience, and why I had to stop: Started at 0.5mg and moved up slowly to 2mg which was far too much for me. At 2mg, I literally couldn’t sleep, as my heart rate is very sensitive to any compounds. Moved back down to 0.5mg for 2 months, and I became the leanest I have ever been while still building muscle on 3000 cals per day of whole foods. I was building road maps of veins in my abs and legs (never had seen this before). The greatest part of this experience was that all of my impulsive decisions like alcohol, weed, and zyns were completely eliminated. This just goes to show you how much our “reward pathways” contribute to addictive behaviors. Even at 0.5mg, my RHR was around 75bpm which was not normal for me. The strength of my pulses were becoming uncomfortable. I would be able to notice my heart beat 24/7. All in all, a positive experience its just unfortunate that I am very sensitive to the glucagon component. Next time I will try Tirzepatide microdose and see if I can get the same results. @morellifit @morellifit are you doing one 2mg injection per week or splitting the dose into two 1mg injections per week?

It's actually unfair how easy shredding gets on retatrutide. This was my first ever cycle of reta (2mg per week). My body fat went from 11.9% to 7.2% in about 100 days.

New Tesla Safety Score v3.0 just dropped. You'll now get a score of 100 for every mile you drive on FSD (Supervised). This is a great move, because it was one of the biggest complaints from users who liked to used FSD all the time. You'd drive on FSD, but it would sometime ding your score, increasing your premiums. Now, using FSD will lower your premiums in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois.

@handsomeyetti @SawyerMerritt I think I got lucky, the day they released it is the day I signed up for insurance as we just moved to the state. Otherwise from what I’ve read, existing policies will be updated upon the next renewal.

Tesla FSD pays for itself over time by lowering your insurance premiums. With the latest version of Safety Score (v3.0), every mile you drive with FSD Supervised enabled will receive a score of 100. The new update applies to new policies in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, and Illinois.
