The organisers, the Islamic Human Rights Commission, have said that the banning of their ‘Al Quds Day’ parade is a “sad day for freedom of expression”. So let’s show them what freedom of expression looks like. Right-minded people should join the Iranian dissident community of London in flocking to the ‘Al Quds Day’ static protest, and drowning them out with our “freedom of expression”. We should do it for Britain, which has suffered enough abuse of our democratic freedoms by the supporters of the medieval death cult that rules Iran. And we should do it for the people of Iran for whom every day of the past 47 years has been a “sad day for freedom of expression”, during which Iranians have been slaughtered in their tens of thousands for speaking their minds.
